Alright, if you want the explaination of yutas abilities (everything but his domain expansion) just watch jjk 0, which is a movie which is set before jjk season one, but after season 2. Rika was (yes you are correct) a girl that promised to marry yuta when they were older, but when they were walking somewhere, rika got hit by a car right infront of yuta. Yuta didnt know this but he is a descendent of the gojo clan (but not the same last name, kinda like a distant cousin) so his huge cursed energy abilities incidentally made yuta curse rika into becoming a cursed spirit after not wanting them to die (a child being a child)
