All the cars are designed to go several laps around a track with corners. If he did a 5 lap race around Monaco or Monza or Abhu Dabi, the one:1 would come in dead last. It isn't built to last an actual race against these cars. Don't start with the but they're race cars stuff. All of them lost this race because of the aero packages creating drag when they didn't need the downforce.

this is really purely bullshit comparison. first of all, rest of the cars to one:1 were not built for quarter miles, they were built for race tracks, most of them has lower top speed because of the simplest reason they don't need kept accelerating to that far. and secondly, I knew for a fact lmp1 cars like 919 has powerful boost control that will out accelerate F1 cars on straight line for a brief period of time, I didn't see that in your video. and then, why does it has to be quarter mile? why not 0-60, or lap time? because I'm most def certain any single car besides the one:1 will out win one:1 on a race track, and since you like the one:1 so much, why don't you talk about how it crashed during testing at Nurburgring 2 months ago? wishful thinking that it would beat 918's record? 1. The greatest racing car was the Porsche 917-30 Can-Am in 1973. 1540hp in qualifying trim and just 780 kg heavy. In race trim it still developed 1100+ hp and decimated all opposition. Too bad it's not in this game. 2. There's no way in hell a Koenigsegg One:1 can reach 395km/h (242mph) in 21,3 seconds. A tuned Lamborghini Gallardo UGR with 2000hp managed 23.479 at 230 mph. You're trying to tell me a 1340hp car is faster than a 2000hp car at those speeds? Between 300-400km/h outright power is requires to overcome the wind drag. 3. Forza Motorsport has *never* been known for its realism.

Imagine if the Scuderia had at least 900hp Nice video. It shows how lightweight chassis and high downforce can give a much better acceleration. Downforce helps a lot at lower speeds but it kills performance at very high speeds. but the lower downforce at higher speeds and extremely high horsepower lead the Koenisegg to victory. i think this was fun. but do remember that the gear ratio has an important part to play here. besides put the Koenigsegg againt an f1 car on a race track.......crickets........ the comparison with the old sports cars at le mans were slowed down as they were doing high 300s(correct me if im wrong but in the low low 400s as well) already.again due to ratios. dont get me wrong,i love Koenigsegg. but we have to compare apples with apples. and dont forget the old 1,5 bmw turbo f1 cars......around 1500 hp......... real world nobody can say,cause as i said,gear ratios and ill wager that if an f1 car had a ratio for top end,i personally believe it might take the K-egg on and in a 1mile.....it would get there quicker and possibly beat the K-egg.

You can tell it's a game and not real life. Some of those group c cars were hitting 240mph+ (with one clocking 253mph) on the Mulsanne Straight at Le Mans. Which is shorter than this yet everything lost to something that topped out at only 220? Also mid 90s CART indycars lapped Michigan and Fontana at an AVERAGE of 230mph.

Considering that qualifying speeds at Indianapolis are around 230 mph per lap, I have a hard time with a 222 mph top speed at the end of a mile. I know that Forza is a good simulation, and they have clearly done their homework, but I would think that IndyCars would reach 230 in a straight-line mile and top out at about 240ish. I've been wrong before, though.

Qualifying speeds are not from a standing start though. And this car in game has more downforce than a setup car for Indianapolis. It the downforce was tuned down, it could have hit 230 in a standing mile.

OK and since they're racecars you can tune them however you need to for a 1mile, rather than leaving them as setup for a circuit race, while racing against a car meant for top speed, do it again with the downforce on all racecars turned down all the way, take the restricted that I know are on a few of these, (definitely the 787, and I assume the 908 as well, and tune the gears for higher top speed on any that top out, racecars don't have a "stock" form, they are setup for each race individually, when it comes to many LeMans cars of the past, they raced at much lower power most of the time, either by restriction of class, or just to conserve fuel at the top class, the Nissan r92cp raced at around 950whp, but during qualifying they cranked the turbos up and it made 1250 HP, and hit 249mph down Fuji speedways straight, so given that is a real world fact, and that straight is a bit less than a mile long, you have an entering speed o to the straight, but also a 40-60 mph turn at the end, so useable track is even less than that near mile, I'm sure that that car would beat that one to one
