Today's review is for one of Xerjoff's Fresh Citrus Fragrances, 1861Rennaisance. Xerjoff 1861 Rennaisance is a Citrus Aromatic Fragrance that is chock full of Bergamot, Mandarin, Lime and Petitgrain for citruses but the fragrance is more about Mint with all of those citruses. Xerjoff 1861 Rennaisance is the perfect late summer Citrus Fragrance. I know we have just another week of Summer so we can enjoy this freshie another week. Xerjoffs are pure quality. Renaissance is no exception. This is a fantastic fragrance for warmer climes. Love Naxos, Alexandria 2, More than words too. 40 knots is in the mail. Next one planned is Pikovaya Dama

I was sitting on samples of this and Nio for over a month. Based on the great reviews of Nio and sorta mixed reviews of Renaissance, I thought the Nio would win out to my nose. But no! Nio is really really nice but I am in love with the vibes Renaissance gives off and chose to order a full bottle. Im just hoping the bottle hits like the sample 🤞🤞

I'd enjoy finding a really nice mint fragrance. The last mint frag I tried smelled so medicinal to me, so it would be great to find one that doesn't have that quality. Great review, as always!

Loved how u explained the wearing experience of 1861 Renaissance! I want to try it even more than I did prior to watching this. The softness u mentioned and it not being really sharp with the citrus and mint just sounds really enjoyable to me. Great take Sebastian! One of my favs from the brand. Minty lime and petitgrain smoothed out by amber. Generally prefer it over Guerlain's Homme edp.

I own Nio, fars and 40 nots. So far I have tried uden, kobe, Naxos, wabar, mefisto, Casamorati 1888 and erba pura. My favourite as of now pending the time I tried more is NIO. It’s amazing!! I would try and put my nose on renaissance soon

Lovely, awesome summer fragrance! One of my favs from Xerjoff and for the summer. Gives off a mojito vibe with mint as the dominant player. I need to delve more into the Oud Stars collection. I like Naxos, Pikovaya Dama, this one and More Than Words. I’m sure I’ll like some others. Be well

Agreed it wears very soft and smooth and does not have that sparkling effect like Le Labo 22, the underlying woody notes are lovely its blended extremely well and very understated. Sadly summer is pretty much over :(

It is really a very well done citrus scent. But I think somehow, I am not the type for very citrussy scents. In freshies I love most the aquatic, seaside scents.

@@ThePerfumeGuy I was shocked when I sprayed Renaissance on my wrist and smelled it as it reminded me of Baby Blue Jeans. I went to get my bottle of Baby Blue Jeans and sprayed it on the opposite wrist and they both have that citrusy soft powdery smell. They aren't spot-on identical but they are similar to my nose, but if you can try to get your nose on Baby Blue Jeans again to refresh your memory you might catch the resemblance. Great review btw, I ended up buying a bottle of Renaissance because of your review.

I tried it on in a store today. The opening reminded me of Mancera Cedrat Boise. Very smooth citrussy opening. Upon drydown, CB is more woody while this one is minty with a hint of rose and spices. It doesn't seem to last long unfortunately. Even Cedrat Boise doesn't last long on my skin.
