Xerjoff - Richwood fragrance unboxing and first impressions

Great review. I havent smelled Coronandel. If you had to choose only one between Coromandel and Richwood - which would you prefer?

I just received my 15ml Richwood, alongside Renaissance & Ivory Route. They are SO CUTE! As you said, perfect for travel size perfume, easily goes in your hand luggage. Also most reviews say that Richwood is a special occasion scent, which makes me feel like 15ml is probably good to last me for quite awhile. Pity they don't have more variety in range on offer from their website. Hopefully they at least change with the seasons over the years...

Wow, that’s a great purchase 👌 These discovery sets are just amazing. For fragrance enthusiasts and collectors 15ml is enough) We love Richwood and Ivory Route(50ml). Haven’t tried Renaissance yet. Yes, we also think that Richwood feels like highest class fragrance. I spray 3-4 sprays of it, when I want to feel very special (Dmitry). Actually we bought 2 discovery sets from the official website in December 2021. There were 15ml of Richwood, Ceylon, Via Cavour 1 (2 pcs), Begum and Alexandria Orientale. So we were lucky to get 3 exclusives. Xerjoff from time to time adds their exclusive fragrances to 15ml discovery sets. Hopefully, you’ll be lucky to get some of them one day. We were absolutely blown away by Via Cavour 1 and Ceylon. So we purchased 50 ml of Ceylon recently. We enjoy all of these 15ml fragrances that we have. Have a great weekend 😃🌊☀️

What type of performance do you get on this 100 ml after having for some time? Also yes do a richwood and coromandel more in depth comparison

Thank you for the comment 😄 We’ll try to do this comparison video. What can I say about Richwood, it’s fantastic. Longevity is over 15 hours on my skin. Projection is great, I can smell it from my neck for all working day or if I spray it in the evening for night out or clubbing, I can smell it all night. And it smells great, especially this gorgeous mysore sandalwood dry down after 4 hours after spraying. It has all the notes I love - Rose, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Citruses and so on. But, on Xerjoff website they don’t mention any sandalwood in Richwood anymore, when I bought my bottle in 2021, there was the note of Mysore Sandalwood on Xerjoff website. And I have a little booklet with the notes inside Richwood box and there is Mysore Sandalwood. So if you can, go for older bottle of Richwood. I wore Richwood (from 15ml bottle) the most this June when I was in my trip to Turkey for 15 days. The Batch Code on my 100ml bottle of Richwood is 221/01/499. Notes from this booklet in my box: Head: Bergamot, Mandarine Peel, Grapefruit, Bourgeons Cassis. Heart: Rose Absolute, Geranium Leaves. Base: Patchouli, Mysore Sandalwood, Amber Coumarin, Cistus Labdanum, Vanilla, Musks. The notes on Xerjoff website are exactly the same, except for they don’t mention Mysore Sandalwood anymore. What a shame if they removed the main note of this beautiful perfume. Enjoy! Dmitry

Longevity is excellent. I wore it 3 times this spring going out and it gave me amazing feelings. I love it more with every wearing. When you say pathcouli and rose, how close similar with YSL tuxedo?

I miss the old version so much (even the packaging with the square bottle was better) 😭. Yesterday I tried a sample bought directly from Xerjoff's official site and the opening is very alcoholic now.

Very sad to hear that. We wish we could try it in older presentation bottle to compare. I don’t know why, but I slightly prefer to wear it from my 100ml bottle than 15ml.

Agree.i own both this version and the square bottle version and performance is no where near of that of the vintage.

@@pullingthestrings5233 Oh, I wish I could compare my 100ml bottle vs my 15ml bottle and vintage square bottle juice which I never smelled. I think my 100ml bottle from 2021 performs great.
