Xero shoes are awesome 👌 My wife and I just completed the Eagle Rock Loop which is 30 miles basically in our Xero shoes in conjunction with Bedrock sandals for water crossing. I wore Oswegos and she wore Tera Flex. Worked great

Been a Zero shoe fan from way back, see Zero shoes, now Xero. I bought their kit to make my own sandals. That grip, I used to go a lot bare foot and driving was always fun, you really ended up grabbing the foot pedals with your toes. Recent I'm in a pare of Hanna's the leather version, also wore out a wool set and two canvas, No complaints with their stuff.

Hi, great review. How well do you think these would hold up in the winter or rain?
@TJackSurvival11 ай бұрын
They hold up great but you will get wet. You’ll also probably need wool socks. They’re not water proof

Great review, Tyler. Would you recommend the DayLite Hiker for rucking? Thank you.
@TJackSurvival Жыл бұрын
Once your feet have adapted absolutely. If you’re bran new to minimalist shoes you’ve got a few months of adaptations that need to happen before you ruck with something like this. But to answer directly yes I’ve rucked with Xeros before.

@@TJackSurvival Thanks Tyler. I logged over 5K miles on my original Preos in a year. So, I am familiar w Xero shoes, Altra, Lems, etc. I wear them all. Cheers and take care. Thanks again.

I wear these as my everyday at work, and also as my walking shoes for doing a few miles around the neighborhood. I've also worn them when spending a few hours standing without discomfort.

Xero has a sale going on until 10/22/24 on specific colors and models. I snagged these up for $35. Can't beat that

Nice video, I wear sketchers black slip on shoes designed for walking on hard surfaces, I love them and they have even survived a wet day kayaking with no issues. I may have to try these as well.

Ok so coming from An Altra Lone Peak how do they compare in sole thickness, toe box size and weight ?
@TJackSurvival3 жыл бұрын
Both are amazing but the two are completely different. Like a Subaru Outback and a pickup truck. Both are awesome in there own way but not alike at all. Xero’s are almost always lighter and thinner soled with the same similar toe box.

Always tempted by shoes like this...but my arches ache just at the thought! Also...WTF is the half Segway lookin’ thing? It looks fun, but does gravel or sand on trails spill you?
@downeastprimitiveskills76883 жыл бұрын
I have a bad arch, bare foot was what mostly solved it. The Xero shoes may be worth a try. Strengthen your foot by mostly going with no shoes then transition into working shoe/boot like any of the Xero shoes, the lighter the better I really like the Hanna.

So I used to have flat arches and plantar fasciitis and this fixed it. I go into depth on it in the other video. That’s an electric unicycle or EUC. The inmotion V10. I’ve taken it up mountains on single track mountain biking trails. It handles dirt great but deep rocks or sand will make it squirrel out from under you. It’s a blast to play with and a fast way to get around on just electricity.

I'm barefoot whenever possible. I could not be kept in shoes as a kid 😆. I've been eyeing Xero's for a couple months since becoming aware of them. How's the durability? Despite not wearing shoes very often, I blow through them really fast.
@TJackSurvival2 жыл бұрын
They are minimalist so they are by nature not crazy durable, but I’ve still got these and use them regularly to include yesterday. They are tough given what they are made out of but they aren’t indestructible.
@danielemilazzo4323 жыл бұрын
are these good as everyday? do they feel hot in summer?

I think so. They feel like socks. So warmer than sandals and cooler than shoes

Been searching up every review I can on these shoes, and I'm very tempted to just say screw it and buy a pair.
@TJackSurvival2 жыл бұрын
I was actually wearing them all day yesterday. The good thing is they’re not too expensive so you can get a couple pair if you want. Also the new releases are coming out soon. I have a review that I hope we are going to release on the 15th of November.
