XEROX GRAIN EFFECT - PUNK YOUR GRAPHICS! (PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL)

SOME IMPORTANT NOTES: -This effect works best on a 300DPI res document. -It cropped badly but the new effect layer icon in the filter gallery panel is on the bottom right it’s like a lil page icon. -Your color palette must be black foreground and white background before using the stamp filter. -When using the magic wand make sure you check anti-alias, my bad for messing up on that! Only uncheck that when you’re using pixel perfect / thresholded graphics. -Bitmap tutorial soon pls sub. -Ily thank you for watching.

These are the exact tutorials I've been needing thanks man your work is dope - On that note, after watching all your videos one thing I feel like you're not utalising enough is smart objects. If in doubt turn everything into a smart object that way you don't have to keep duplicating and hiding layers and instead of using the magic wand and erasing you can select colour range and mask, even more nondestructive. Keep doing what you're doing man you're a legend

Different folks different strokes! These are good suggestions but I don’t tend to maximize the non-destructive workflow in projects where it’s not completely necessary. Filling the project file with smart objects and layer masks tends to make my mac lag a bit, and take a toll on the ram. I’ll only use a layer mask where the information I’m hiding can be scrapped or remade easily. Though I do agree if you have the option to do so without sacrificing speed then it is warranted for sure!

Make sure you set you foreground and background colours to default (press D) before using the filter menu because it will confuse you. Thanks for this tutorial btw :) Had fun doing it!
