I think the length of the video should be encumbent on the quality of content. If it takes an hour to explain something in detail; so be it. If it takes 4 minutes? Thats cool too. Theres never really a point where it feels like you're dragging on for no reason just to get it past 10 minutes. Anyway, love the vids, I always learn something new every time.

The whole premise of having a plan and being prepared for what will kill me has been a literal game-changer, even though it seems like such an obvious thing. I always THOUGHT I knew, but actively thinking about it is a different thing. I've only ever always hit gold then stopped ranked but this season I've climbed from S3 to G1 with a 57% WR on Jinx and I put a lot of credit in your vids. Even if I lose a game, the moments where I successfully execute a plan or avoid a gank based on lessons from these vids are the best moments because I can see for sure that I've improved. E.g. if I wait before fully committing to a fight then sidestep a max range Malph ult or flash a key cc ability before I go in, or when they have a fed Rengar so I sit on my team and have my stopwatch ready, or their Jax is destroying me with stuns so I build QSS and can flash to my team. Sometimes on Jinx the outplay tools I need aren't there but it has still helped so much. Keep it coming!
@Moozerty5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I think its not about realising whole "plan" thing, its more about actively thinking about this during game. I KNOW I need to dodge lux Q. But If I keep thinking about this, I will just pay attention to animation and flash it and kill or something.

This is *exactly* how I approach LoL and I'm so glad you've managed to articulate it well enough to teach it. It's the OODA loop! When I'm not entirely sure what all the OODA loops are going to look like/which iteration they'll play out as, my options are either to play passive and allow the game to develop for better or worse around me, or else to think of a gambit to try out in order to try and allow the enemy to mess up the counter-strat because they don't know that I've already predicted it as I begin to set it up. It's like giving the enemy enough rope to hang themselves with (but hoping they don't figure out a way to tie a lasso and capture you with it instead). The practice of repeatedly doing this while guarding yourself from getting blown-out too hard should one of your gambits go south is what I'd call a calculated risk. Successfully designing and executing on a series of gambits in a row in order to style on the opponent is what I often refer to as "Chaining Gambits" or "Running Loops around 'em". I'm gonna add this video as the crown jewel of my Learning League playlist and refer people to it whenever they ask me for resources. Bless.

This is how I got really good and why I no longer fear Lux, I do this type of shit all the time with Sivir simply because I needed mana hey I know blitz is going to pull my ass so like I purposefully hang out in the open waiting for blitz to throw his pull get my mana for spell blocking it flash in and kill my target. It's something I've gotten a lot better at doing, issue I'm having is the consistency part, like I've had some crazy outplays that I was super surprised about, but I will say I'm getting better at it, still not sure what to do about Zed's ult still trying to figure him out more not sure if I can counter his ult other than the obvious just wait till he uses it. I'm adc main too my issue is losing games I can't win or losing lanes that they're a duo and they are just out right better than me, it tilts me and I end up playing worst because of it, then suddenly it's like all the tricks and tips I've been learning since season 6 goes out the window and I become desperate. Their are games where I've had people think I was a diamond player, then I get smoked in another game and it's a painful reminder that no I'm just silver.......and Idk I just get discouraged. Then suddenly I'm missing all my ults with ashe, ulting too soon with miss fortune fearing going in even when I have an item advantage shit like that. Their are games where I feel like I deserve gold, plat shit like that......where I did some shit that you would see on youtube and be like faker......and then I lose to someone that's better than me and that shit tilts me because I'm like silver I should be best if I'm not the best in silver, I ain't going to move up.....and it's a bad mindset.........just need to figure out how to gain my confidence back.......

Versus the zyra (at 7:55), didn't she just whiff her skills? I know that saber made it harder to hit, but even still. Her q was WAY off mark, and her e also wasn't that well aimed. At any rate, she should've known that there was no escaping that and just commited to the fight, in which case twitch was melee range and theres no way shed miss her e. If like saber said, she could've traded 1 for 1 by landing all her skills, then that would be a horrible trade for twitch (since he is 6/1). Maybe if he had used a reactive flash to dodge skillshots, but he literally just walked up to her and without using any movement skills, she missed all her skills from close range. That is mainly a misplay from zyra, not an unbeatable plan from saber.

D3 problems are: -Lack of consistency/focus -Understanding of the fundamentals but poor execution (ties in with inconsistency) -Decision making errors, which also ties in with inconsistency (despite knowing what is a good/bad play, you still opt towards bad plays more than good) -Lack of adaptability/flexibility in outstandingly varied circumstances.

I'm pretty good adc and I quite mastered cait and kaisa mechanics so far with m7 on cait and m6 on kaisa. However as I have a new acc, and therefore I was assign to bronze. I most of times get trolls in my team. For e.g: people trying 0 mastery points champs in ranked or even afks/rage quitters. I feel kind of hardstuck. What do I do ?
@anthony268125 жыл бұрын
you should be able to carry with the ap kaisa build, your evolved w with rabcap into r proc passive q one shots any squishy and the range you can do it from is massive

I really struggle with setting up these Auto-Trades, and dodging. If i stay too close, the enemys will most likely run away, but somehow i am not able to really freeze, i always slow push the wave. The 2nd often happends because i am trying to dodge the most efficient way (not walking the largest amount) but i get hooked like on the close Edge of the animation (real close), is there some way to practice these both? Because even though i can often anticipate the way they fight, i am lacking the basic laning mechanics.

Well that's something i actually thought about before. In lol you only have to push buttons and move your cursor fast and precise. That's all. If you compare that to playing an instrument it's pretty easy because for example it doesn't matter how you press your buttons. Are you pressing it on the edge? In the middle? Are you pressing hard or soft? This sounds kinda stupid i know. But as far as i understand that's one of the many differences. With enough practice on combos for example you can learn the basic controls of lol a lot easier than from an instrument. Another key difference seems to be the stuff saber talks about in this video. If you play an instrument you don't need to react. You don't need to know which enemies you're facing, you don't need to know how strong you are or how strong they are. You don't need to know what they're up to. That's only my opinion however.
