Kizuna is the Japanese term Simon uses to describe the bonds (devotion, obligation, loyalty) of the interconnected (family, tribe, group, survivors). A popular kanji of kizuna will also incorporate the names of the individual family members in smaller characters next to the main large kanji. It's the perfect term to describe XG.

The next episode is much more raw than this one. A couple parts will be painful to watch but you can see Simon is trying to make a team of sisters that cannot be broken by the toxicity of todays world. The music industry is ruthless and XG being a Japanese group in Korea and in the Korea kpop "sphere" brings them an insane amount of hate sadly. I'm grateful and glad Simon prepared them for it.

That's why XG is Elite of the Elite. Because they have SIMON Sensei to guide, love, respect and support them - he not only developed the girl talent wise for the sake of them to debut and be known, but he even made these girls 'sisters' in all aspects. I never knew that 40-ish old me will fall so hard in any group/artist in my life. But XG man, their different and I'm so glad I stan them.

Knetizens fuel the hate why they are in Korea promoting and like so what ??? Kpop promote in Japan and they have created Japanese groups too. Japan is too restrictive when it comes to music, so kpop idol system is the way to go and South Korea was a better chance for xg to get well known worldwide. Because how big kpop is globally. Xg will always be my favorite group following others behind. I like always say music is a universal thing for anyone to enjoy.

Lindaaa. You just made my day :) I know you're gonna pause & repeat that part when Jurin and Chisa is arguing - i mean, i was shocked seeing them argue like that too. And the part when Jurin is telling the girls (while crying) that their gonna be the best girl group ever is such a tearjerker IMO. This Docu series will be great, especially we will be seeing them grow roots - facing all that challenges and hardships along the way. 100% this series will make us love them even more. And really, kudos to SIMON for putting these girls to the grinder - i mean, he said it to an interview before that he really pushed these girls to their limit & he was strict during their trainee days, but look what we have now? These girls are already diamonds in the rough, but SIMON polished them, honed their innate talents and made them shine brighter than they can imagine. Seven amazingly talented & wonderful XTRAORDINARY GIRLS - ready to take over the world. Also it's so brave of you to defend these girls for the haters that still questioning XG’s presence in Korea. Their really your ult group and we love you even more for that. Can't wait for your reaction on the 1st episode. ❤😊 Keep safe always.

She’s the President, CEO and Chairman! Love XG!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Now you’ll see XG smiles as not the usual cute idol smiles. When Simon said they are more than family, it is really more than being soft and emotional. They are built and trained to last. Their discipline is sharply focused on one ambition. I wish viewers would keep in mind how the trainees were in 2017, then their paths to 2023. Incredible journey so far.

I like how his mom was Japanese and his father Korean I think that’s what he said.Just because they are in Korea doesn’t mean they have to be labeled K-pop and I think that’s why or part of the reason why he labeled them X pop which is really cool.All we know is that they make great music and are just an awesome group in general.

And this is basically just the prologue. Imagine all the feels getting even more intense with every episode. I'm making it a point to rewatch their ski trip video, so that all their smiles and happy faces can help me recover 😅 Btw, Simon telling the girls to not to be afraid and just enjoy the experience, that he'll take all the responsibility is what cemented my faith in him. How many CEOs - in this field or any other - do you know of would say that to those under their wing (the bird metaphor is apt - he's like the mama bird coaxing her babies to take their first flight).

Yep that one too. They all look so happy on that ski resort trip. Also any other videos, especially Bday videos of them - just want to see their happy moments and the way they love and cherish each other. Basically I rewatched them all after seeing this and the first episode XG Docu. Just to ease the pain of seeing the cry & struggling. 😂

This was exciting and Simon is definitely a visionair he’s so passionate and dedicated and will take the fall for them which is very admirable .It’s good to know the girls have an amazing support system.I can’t see them not going further at this point they are aiming high like their song shooting star . My heart still gos out to Gfriend who could of still been active today they were an amazing group much like Dreamcatcher and the other great groups such as Xg.I just had to get that out there too because I’m a big Gfriend fan they are on my top 3 Dreamcatcher,Gfriend,and Xg❤ I would love to see this documentary it looks amazing.
