I really love how this documentary takes itself seriously. There’s no dramatic music cueing every time a trainee gets scolded or when one cries. There’s no cute edits and distracting commentary in the subtitles. It just feels real. You listen to their footsteps and their heavy breathing and the silence of the mentors. It takes away the glamour and shows you just a snippet of the excruciating work they all put in. This series does not show you the superstar XG members - it shows you the very real girls that dedicated years of their lives and youth to achieve what “XG” has achieved so far. I seriously appreciate the care that they put into the editing of the documentary.

everyone in this documentary practiced really hard but someone who failed to debut have to go home with no rewards. of coure i know its inevitable but still it makes me so sad.

You're so right! It felt so natural I didn't even realize that usually we would get music to guide the mood and our emotions I really dislike it sometimes it's unnecessary and even biased in certain cases. I totally agree.

Couldnt agree more. I wish MNET would take a page from this. Maybe have the group ready when the show premieres, cut out the voting and let the professionals decide.

@@izzywoods794mnet wont do it like that. these people are used to do their dirty tactics such as creating drama, making the girls do forced drama or evil editing it just to gain engagement. dont forget, mnet loves creating survival shows and not documentaries like this.
the scene with the 3 girls dancing in that hallway had me bawling 😭 i can see why simon pushed them so hard, he saw their true potential. i think with juria and chisa he saw his 2 main vocalists and wanted to create a passion for dancing just as equal to their passion for singing. it worked. now they’re all rounders and truly excel at everything. i can also see jurin’s leadership qualities shine through here. she’s not afraid to be the first to raise her hand and speak her mind. she’s honest but constructively so.

You and me both. 😭😭😭 But in the end they have made their mark, they've pushed themselves so hard. I love all of the members before this docu came to light, but now that we see and experience everything - I have loved them more. Who would've thought that the most bubbly members (Chisa, Maya and Juria) of the the group has gone through that kind of hardships early on.

@@anonyonly396 they are the sweetest. Especially Juria. I really hate seeing her cry. But even though she's a crybaby she has a heart of a lion. They are literally the dream team. All of them and all the things they've been through made them stronger and made them love each other more.
I can't imagine XG without JURIA. Juria's vocals literally exudes the uniqueness of their sound in each type of song genre so far with XG's discography. Her techniques are great. Her dance as well. So charming.

I couldn't imagine XG without the Juria, Chisa, Maya....or I don't think I would've loved the group as much without them. Best vocals in the industry by far.

@@_aiko020 Simon totally forgot voice ranking in his battle royal😖😵😵😵 WTF
Simon has a heart of gold. He stood up for Juria, Chisa, and Maya when the rest of the girls didn't think they should practice with them. Simon really saw they have what it takes and he was right, look at them now as the members of XG. Next episode is going to be tearjerker

@@idalia799 right now, this issue has been an uproar/causing a debate .. most of the ALPHAZ don't want Hikaru to join XG (as they said, it will only add another rapper to the group),,, while Hikaru stans wanted her to join. What's your opinion on this? Tho Jurin already said in an interview that Hikaru is still part of the XGALX project, but she didn't really emphasize that Hikaru would be rejoining them... Maybe in the future she said that they can make music together (more like a collab)
this episode arrives right after seeing the XG ladies perform HITC NY; the impact of this documentary hits harder after seeing them all shine on that stage for their first American performance; if there was a way to measure the energy and love ALPHAZ had for XG ladies, it would be immeasurable because it would not be contained. Thank you Simon, XGALX, JURIN, HINATA, CHISA, AMY, JURIA, MARTIN, and COCONA!!! there is still more to come from this extraordinary group.
I've never seen an executive producer is so moved by his trainees this much. Long live, Simon. Hope you always success on your visions and endeavors. Please to always tend the strong will and kind heart of yours.

I love this documentary series! I have a whole new appreciation and admiration for our girls, seeing the trials and tribulations they've been through! ALPHAZ 🐺 love you!

Man..I don't know what to comment. I can't help but just cry. Simon first made the 15 girls into rivals but ultimately, Simon wanted the girls to realize the hardship that each of them were experiencing, and to experience that pain together instead of leaving each other out. Simon made them from rivals to sisters..😭 Watching this journey is turning me into an emotional wreck 😭💗💗
Watching Jurin, Hinata, Cocona, & Harvey dance like that shows how they stood out from the beginning. Chisa, Maya and Juria really worked their asses off and It's so satisfying seeing the underdogs rise
This documentary is so beautiful... i love the friendship but also the competitiveness Simon created... when youre a child you think authority is there to diminish you and be mean to you. But in reality (most of the time), they are there to build your character, and that's EXACTLY what Simon did for all of these girls...
