@@yggirlgroups I think the point of them calling themselves xpop is to mainly not pigeon-hole themselves into the type of music usually associated with that. More likely is it's to avoid hate because the members are all technically Japanese and I don't think Korean fans would enjoy that.

XG is a group made up of 7 Japanese girls, they work as a global group (they are not kpop). The girls are 1st- Cocona (The girl with the shaved head) is the main rapper 2nd- Jurin (red hair) is the Leader 3rd- Harvey (the girl with black hair) is a rapper 4th- Maya (blonde girl) is a rapper and Lead Vocal 5th- Juria (mermaid) she is the main vocalist 6th- Hinata (purple hair) she is the vocalist 7th- Chisa (pink hair) Main Vocal Cocona went viral in December 2022 after the release of Tape 2, a project by the group.

Howling goes with their alien space wolves concept. You’ll see wolves and outer space themes in most of their productions. Their fandom is called “Alphaz”; they often howl for the girls in concerts.
