ALPHAZ ON DECK 🐺🐺🐺 many references to anime in the video. Starting with “Memories” by Katsuhiro Otomo right at the beginning, to Ghost in the Shell (Harvey) and of course a lot of Princess Mononoke. Not forgetting, of course, all the other references, for example: Michael Jackson with Thriller and Moonwalk. Then of course the Matrix. Not to mention all the bars. The three vocals here in the video are the goddess and the rappers are the warriors

Brief details about XG. They are a group of 7 ladies from Japan but operate out of Korea. They are exceptional rappers, singers, and dancers. The are signed to the company XGALX. The CEO is also the creator and producer, Simon, also known as JAKOPS. Their title tracks are all in English. They trained intensely for 5 years before they debuted in March of 2022. They are not really considered k-pop but "X-pop" instead since they dive into many different genres. Their lore is that they are "Galactic Wolves" traveling the galaxy conquering planets. The fandom is called ALPHAZ and we're part of the collective wolf pack. 🐺🐺🐺🐺 Howling is a tribute to both Japanese and Black American culture. The costumes and theme are a nod to the Japanese anime "Princess Mononoke" while the lyrics and raps, and some imagery, are a nod to Michael Jackson's "Earth Song". XG isn't just putting out music, they are producing art with every release. Nobody else, east or west, is doing this. They're a Japanese group. They're trilingual but sing mostly in English. They do all kinds of genre but their main focus is hiphop and RnB. Check out Woke Up, their first all-rap song. The rap line has cyphers called "Tape". XG debuted in 2022 and have been growing in popularity. They have a cult-like following called "Alphaz" 🐺. XG will be performing at Coachella this April. More people will know about them then.
