XG recently did a live cover of Destiny Child’s Say My Name and Keyshia Cole Love at their concerts. XG is going to perform at Coachella 2025. 😃 Check out their extra contents, XG Tape (rap cyphers), XG Vox (cover songs), XG Move (personal dance choreography videos). This is where they pay a lot of their homages to the OG western artists like TLC and Kehlani that inspired them. As you can already tell almost all of XGs discography is in English. However they can sing and rap in Japanese and Korean. You’re spot on with XG being a global group. They’re an all Japanese member group that is based in Korea. What’s crazy about XG is every single member can do it all Sing, Dance, and Rap at insanely high levels. Now one thing I wanna touch up on is when you said why doesn’t their song have that many likes. XG is all about organic growth, the music industry has always paid for likes and views. @@shalayaB Maya is actually the 2nd youngest member at 19 years old. She is part of the Rap Line and she is also a Lead Vocalist, and a great Dancer. Personality wise she is very loud and silly, only serious when she needs to be. She has golden retriever energy.

Maya is the rapper at 13:32 on that triplet flow and Jurin is at 15:02, she's the leader. The thing about XG is they are the gold standard when it comes to committing to your concept. They're a pack of alien wolves and as such, their fandom are called ALPHAZ. What truly sets them apart is that ALL their songs are connected. Each release only further deepens their lore, with HOWLING being the latest edition (this is without a doubt their signature song to date). It follows the turning point in 'WOKE UP' (Jurin, the leader, actually foreshadowed Howling) after the events in 'Puppet Show.' You can actually see how far the girls have come as Howling (latest release) is the spiritual successor to Shooting Star (breakout hit, 3rd song they released) in terms of how the songs are composed, albeit much darker in tone.
