The biggest thing for those who come in on Woke Up is that they assume XG is a rap group. But they really aren't. Woke Up was just their all rap song. They have songs that cover R&B, Drill,UK Garage ( this song), pop. Etc. XG doesn't want to be boxed into one style. They've been out since 2022.

Woke Up was them flexing their rap. SAR is flexing their vocals on a house beat. They do R&B, they do Soul, they do Pop. Next drop will most likely be a rock or country song, lol. Don't get these girls twisted, they're actually a dance crew that can sing like K-pop idols but rap better than K-pop idols. If XG is Wutang then check out Young Posse for west coast rap.

Alphaz has been waiting for the 4 main rappers to sing so SAR is their first time they all sang together. Wish that Harvey didn't rap in this drop, but she's always doing something different in all of their songs to give a pause or shift in tone of a song. My favoite is New Dance when she started popping. She knows how to sing though she just hasn't had the chance to flex it.

See that's the problem with new viewers reacting to Woke Up. They will expect all hip hop..... If you are only expecting Rap, XG is not going to be for you. They have 3 really good rap heavy songs but the rest are R&B and Pop. They are one of the most versatile groups there are, male and female.
