I believe the whole “I just learned a new dance” Lyric is exactly that lmao it’s not necessarily a “single specific NEW dance” but more - just come together and start dancing however and move ur body to the music. THATS what the new dance is - whatever u feel when u hear the music and start moving. It’s not an actual specific dance lmao I think y’all thinking too deep into it. It’s suppose to be a feel good song , so dance however u want , that’s what “I just learned a new dance” means. It’s YOUR dance…

But I don’t think the actual chorus is the “new dance” - I believe the lyrics and the whole purpose of the song is as I said - just moving ur body and learning new dance moves and being free and having fun , oppose to it actually meaning a specific dance !

It was filmed in Okinawa,Japan. They brought all filming staff from Korea other than drone videographer and lighting staff. Compared to TGIF or GRLGVNG, it should be less budgeted, but they still built that space ship interior and used CGI for a graffiti.

Great reaction. 1st listen I thought New Dance was repetitive said 40 times, 12 times per pre chorus. After watching my fave reactors it really grew on me got me vibing every time now. The new dance is confidently having fun in the moment and moving your body like no one else is watching. It's all in the lyrics. I walked in to the show and loved the beat so I started dancing. To paraphrase "Everybody is watching me have the time of my life dancing this new crazy dance. Want to have fun like me, I'll show you how". Every girl sung a version of their own "new dance". Chisa's was turn around, bend over and touch your toes it really doesn't matter as long as your steady keep your eyes on the floor. It's not a new dance, it's a state of mind. The song's premise is about having confidence in yourself, stop worrying about what others think about you, enjoy the moment and just dance your new dance like it was the greatest new dance ever created!!!!!!

I think it was smart to release this at the end of summer- I think if it was released early summer we'd get big tired of the "new dance new dance new dance" chorus real fast. 1080p it’s ok, I personally don’t like Tippy Toes as much and I prefer this song to GrL Gvng and TGIF , and Mascara is my number 1 followed by Shooting Star, this being the strong third runner up, but music is subjective. I feel like the comment on how they should have said in the song how to do the song is a bit of a miss.
