That's a weird thing to say... appropriation implies a power imbalance and can be a form of oppression. So if someone "appropriated from XG" that would imply XG had less power than them and were being oppressed, which isn't empowering to the group. You should say "The world should be inspired by XG" or something that implies XG have power and influence. Being appropriated doesn't imply power and influence it implies you are being stolen from against your will.
