I think you hit it on the head in the beginning! they’re not gonna let anything hold them back. The lyrics suggest strong female empowerment, and the MV to me is a visual representation of XG breaking boundaries not letting the industry dictate what they do and they’ll rise to the top their way! From the beginning, especially on Shooting Star. It’s them leaving their home planet cause it was getting destroyed. On Left Right, that’s them in their spaceship traveling through the galaxy. Hesono O and X-Gene is basically them growing and evolving in the womb of their mothership. GRL GVNG is them preparing to get ready to land on earth and getting ready for battle, just in case. TGIF is them realizing, hey we’re fly enough to be just ourselves. And let’s do this with confidence. New Dance is them learning things on earth especially dancing and adapting. Puppet Show is basically a flashback about their home planet. It’s also a metaphor for how society portrays women as a “slave” to the industry. The whole song and MV can be interpreted differently. It’s all up to the viewer and listeners. Their lore is that they are aliens and that’s the reason why they always mention, they are built different

So this music video, in my theory, they are like trapped in the underworld kind of like stranger things in the upside down and they can only go to the other world through the abyss if they are accepted. 1, the guy jumps and you can see in this music video all of the members eyes got like super wide cause they were watching to see if he would make it and he like explodes so he wasnt accepted. 2, they were praying or asking for guidance or something from that "god" person and then 3, whenever they all jumped it showed Cocona in the air forever but she landed and they were running up a building like they are running to the top. My biggest question was look at Maya before they jumped, she has like really icy crystal eyes and then at the very end when they are on the other side one of her eyes are red... so did like did something go wrong during the jump and they are going to like turn demonic? Like remember girl gvng they all had like different colored eyes.... or is this just to make the MV more hype? I have no idea! Ugh XG always keeping me on my tippy toes (see what I did there lol) Also big sister Hinata saving Juria from taking that balloon thing at the beginning and Juria looks down and Hinata is like "not yet, your not ready and we do this together as a family" Ugh... XG is amazing. Lowkey hardcore emotional feelings everytime I was one of their videos cause I know the meaning is alot deeper than I can fathom..
