I remember in XG's documentary, Chisa, Juria and Maya were ranked near the bottom of trainees because of their dancing skills and got sent home. Now look at them, they've all come so far. Can't imagine XG without them.

Yeah, definitely watch it either on your own time or on the channel. Long episodes though, about 30 minutes to an hour each episode. It's a very raw look into their training system, how they got chosen, and the hurdles they've all overcome.@@ChainReactionsChannel

Juria has that restrained/refrained vocal strength. It’s smooth and soft but it bites. Hinata has that mid-low register that compliments Chisa’s mid to high and Juria’s high soft tone. But with all 7, they all compliment each others range and tones

Even us old skool homeys love XG. They are like our mega talented little sisters to be protected at all costs. They slayed it like always of course. You could tell they were a little nervous which i thought was cute considering XGs endless energy levels. So proud of the girls hopefully we get "Winter Without You" also. I noticed too that's what I meant when I was saying some of them looked very serious while Juria and Chisa looked like they were just in music land lol. It's an unusual environment and setup for them so maybe it was a little weird for them but they seemed to get locked in and obviously killed it anyway! This old alpha is so proud of them as always. I remember Simon telling Juria that she needs to learn to feel the emotion of what's she's singing. Chisa has always been able to sing with feeling. Cocona's swag always comes out. I absolutely love that they chose Shooting Star, it was with the song that they started this year and it fits that it is the last presentation of the year, Simón does not do things at random, I think that Shooting Star is a representative song of the group, speaking of the presentation as such, that I can say that I have not said before, they are simply wonderful, their talent and charisma are out of this world, we should not take for granted how good the vocal line is just because we know how incredible they are, with that rap line that is perfect and what can we say about our ace Maya, simply pure talent, thanks for the reaction brother, always a pleasure to hear your Jurianalysis brother i have a soft spot for her in particular

this their most popular song by far, so this one makes sense - great point about them feeling the music - the mv for this was the first thing I saw from them - even in that I could feel the emotion - that combined with the story of their journey contained in the song and I was hooked - there is zero connection but I am huge fleetwood mac fan and that feelling that just comes through was true of them - yep, very oldschool reference

I think the way this was done adds a dimension to the song for sure. It makes the song feel fresh even though I've heard it so many times. That's not easy to do!

@@MarkCalica No. These vocals were recorded live over the instrumental backing track in the First Take studios, so there are obvious differences as they are two different vocal recordings. One was made in the XG studio and fine tuned for release, this one was done in one take for First Take, that's kind of the whole point of the First Take channel.

What I’m trying to say here is people usually appreciate Chisa’s vocal, cause she got super bright and clean voice, but Juria and Hinata part always got not enough attention. Look at every performance, how Juria always goes smoothly and softly, she brings so many amazing layers into every song, I just love her. And Hinata, I means even only in this song, her ‘ha’, ‘aha’, always in perfect tune, not an easy job!

This was such a beautiful song -- it encapsulates XG's hope & dreams (and the one that put them on the map). The recording session of this song is dope too (XTRA XG 11). Everything XG does is A1 flawless.
