They are k pop. I wish fans would stop fighting that. If you want to be popular you need to be included in the kpop conversation. It does not help to say ur are completely singular all the time. They can be unique in makeup and still included in the K-pop convo. In fact they need to be.

@@michaeln3044 they promoting in Kpop system doesn't mean they are Kpop. They just use Kpop promotion setup, that's all. I wish nonfan/Kpop stan stop fighting that. It's like Kpop promo in Japan system, they even sing in Japanese, can I call them Jpop? In the begining of XG, they claim that they're X-pop, meaning they are International Pop, just that. You also can call them HipHop/R&B group because their music genre in general.

Having trained in Korea does NOT make your music kpop. Being born in Japan doesn't automatically make your music jpop. XG stated from the start with Tippy Toes they are breaking boundaries and stereotypes. They are 100% paving a new X-pop genre where you must be able to do multiple genres like R&B, hip-hop, house, edm, rock, and exceed in each genre to join the X-pop club. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🐺🐺🐺
