Chisa shouting into empty space was a zreference to "Love Letter" . The Xtraordinary Girls' vocal runs and riffs are so heavenly, and rap cadences are so beautiful, it is such an audio ASMR.. This track shows that Hiphop & RnB is their forte. The lyrics are so sensible and relatable that the listener is pulled into the emotion and vibe. This music video was well-crafted. Kudos to the genius of Simon JAKOPS and the creativity of XGALX. This is fire 🔥

They literally can do anything & everything. Elite rapline, elite vocalists, elite dance crew. This is such old skool R&B 90s/early 2000s perfection. Only XG can do it like that. Yes! In the beginning, Chisa shouts OGenki desu ka?" in Japanese. Asking, "Are you ok? " or "How are you?" and she answers herself by shouting "Watashi wa genki desu!" or translated, "I am fine". This scene is perhaps derived from "Love Letter" a 1995 Japanese romantic film written, directed and edited by Shunji Iwai in his debut feature film and starring Miho Nakayama. In the movie Nakayama plays 2 parts, one of the woman missing her deceased fiance after he died in a mountain accident. Long after, she discovers his childhood address, and writes a letter to that address. And to her surprise, she gets an answer back! The girl living at that address now, has the same name has her fiance!

After researching this MV sounds like 90s and 00s, the popular, JPOP artists like Hikaru Utada (Japanese American singer) with her popular ‘First Love’ song and Namie Amuro (Chisa admired Japanese artist). And this MV also reminds people of the R&B, hip-hop vibes of Destiny Child and Spice Girls in the 80s and 90s. Amazing channel. I've always had androgynous look as guys in K POP, but in my case it was a real fuel for bullies when I was growing up. The opening scene where Chisa screams is an homage to the 1995 Japanese film "Love Letter." A woman who lost her fiance in a snowy mountain accident could never forget him. His body was left on the snowy mountain, so she was unable to say goodbye to him. In the final scene of the movie, she goes to the snowy mountain to meet him. So she cried, "How are you? I'm fine." This word is an idiom often used at the beginning of letters. In other words, it was a love letter addressed to him that would never arrive. This word has the meaning of missing you and wanting to see you.
