XG is a 7 member Japanese global girl group aged currently 18-22 formed by XGALX. XG is completely fluent in Korean and Japanese but they choose to sing/rap in English because they are a Global Girl Group. Fandom is called ALPHAZ because the leader of a pack of wolves is called the Alpha. but if you look at their documentary they were being trained under the k-pop method with their dancing and stuff... so they are a mix of both, that's why they are Xpop... Simon also combined both style of music to make XG songs, like the overall feel of hip hop rnb but with kpop arrangement to highlight each members with their parts etc...

They need to hit in the U.S. They really don't get many views compared to other Kpop groups. I wish they stuck with the Japanese/ English mix. They are isolated in all three counties. Japan/Korea because it's all in English and in the U.S because they are foreign. I worry about them but if they come to U.S, I'm going. The most talented group in kpop. They are English only from what I've heard from the main songs.

All published songs are all English. They will sing/rap covers in 3 languages, not for resale though. In their 4 sold out shows in Osaka and Yokohama, to begin their world tour, they sing 3 Japanese Covers, rap their trilingual Xypher. And most everything else was in English, except they talked yo the audience in Japanese. ❤

You don't see modern american artist do chorography any more.. i wonder why??? Singing or rapping while doing intensive choreography. They quit and stop that years ago, now you only see their backup dancer dancing for them. There need to be more western artist that can do what chris brown, and usher does. If you check out XG or even kpop songs you will have noticed it that basically almost all kpop idols group can dance. Mandatory skill. They took the influence of western music and black culture and add in dancing chorography in almost all of their music videos and when they go on live statges.

Among the group artists, XG stands out for being able to express such a strong impact on their music videos, as they can do anything perfectly. I felt that this kind of strong approach, which is possible (or rather rare) in Europe and America, was also emerging in Asia, since they are Japanese, more than a perspective from outside, has a certain meaning. As for cocona, she herself suggested shaving her hair, and her parents approved, as she wanted from an early age.
