XG is a 7 member Japanese global girl group aged currently 18-22 formed by XGALX. XG is completely fluent in Korean and Japanese but they choose to sing/rap in English because they are a Global Girl Group. Fandom is called ALPHAZ because the leader of a pack of wolves is called the Alpha. They have already performed concerts in USA, Japan, China, Australia, Singapore, etc

808 bass infused with sounds unique to East Asia. WOKE UP is their most rap-focused single yet essentially doing away with the idea of a melodic hook. First time all 7 members rapping together. Cocona been wanting to shave her hair off. XGALX Entertainment wasn't ready for Cocona shaved look back in the beginning of her career. XG co-write at times. Part of XG Artistry Concept they're Alien Space Wolves pack from another Galaxy. XG Alien concept wasn't established until Shooting Star released 2023.

You cant rly compare XG to a K-pop group who assign members to do certain things. XG is a group of 7 all around aces. Rap, vocals and are all elite dancers. But they do those side videos you mentioned in-between their main releases that separate the main vocal line (Chisa, Juria and Hinata) (XG VOX videos) and the rap line (Jurin, Cocona, Harvey and Maya) (XG TAPE videos). Then their main MVs have all of them. Hardcore HipHop/Rap reaction channels have been mind blown by Woke Up. XG was even on the cover of Billboard Magazine a few months ago.

I agree . .. Kpop girl groups are sounding all the same to me with sometimes meaningless lyrics to give this usual chanting style of most groups and repeated syllables so XG is a breath of fresh air for sure!
