I was rewatching some old xg performances on Korean shows just cause and I noticed they weren’t getting tons of love like other groups. So watching this was so nice to see. The ladies of XG did not realize how loved they were in NYC. It was so refreshing to see them be in shock from the hype crowd and all the love they were getting!! Their genuine surprise and pure joy is something you don’t often capture in the moment.

Agreed, its tought for Asian girl groups in front of a foreign audience. The only one that got anywhere close to this reception would be IVE - Love Dive at Frankfurt. You could see IVE, especially Yujin, break composure due to emotions the crowd was giving. Not sure there are many things as exhilarating as getting that response from a live audience.

They haven't even debuted on Japanese TV shows nor did much promotion there yet, though Japan being the biggest contributor for K pop sales and even though Avex could easily set them up for XG... So currently not many people in Japan know XG but some Japanese TV news reported that there was huge crowd gathered at XG booth at KCON👍 Imagine they get finally known by general public of Japan, not just small K pop circle over there? And after performing at HITC LA???

K-conに続いて２回目の大観衆の中でのステージ、普通ならまだ新人だから緊張するのに、楽しんでるのはいかに彼女たちが何年も練習してきて自分たちに自信を持っているからだと思う。 穏当に晴れてよかったの！生でライブを見てみたい！！！！GO XG GO It was amazing to see how they were able to enjoy the stage instead of getting nervous. I think it's a sign of how much they have prepared over these several years, which has given them confidence.
