ADAPTIVE ACTION: Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham | World of X Games

Born with spina bifida, Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham was confined to crutches since he was a child. When the chance came to gain access to a wheelchair, Fotheringham jumped at it. But rather than view his wheelchair as confining, he saw it as a way to explore the neighborhood, including the local skatepark. Encouraged by his parents to take the first drop-in, adrenaline kicked in and he was hooked. This is a look inside the unique, unstoppable life of Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham.

Your my kinda hero! I try to show peoplz how great my possibilities in my wheelz are! 56, female, all over full of daily pain can't keep me away from life and fun! Mine is white and black and red! Red's the rim cover l need. And the spoke protector has dog - feet at their both sides, cause l love dogs. My wheelz are power assisted cause of less power in my body and l like the lights. People find it cool and so l can speak of disability doesn't meoan l can't but l can different. It had to be named differencity cause we're different, but normal . Live your life! I try little borders and then the bigger ones. More and more. Since l saw you l'm unstoppeble! Nevertheless! Be blessed!
