Hello @LaurentWillen, I saw you also have a review for Halo+, how does Elfin compare to the Halo+ is there a noticeable difference in brightness? Do you think the internal battery of the Halo+ can be an issue if the projector is stored in a car during summer? Thanks for the great review!

Thanks! In theory the Halo+ should be brighter but in reality they are in the same range. I measured a realistic brightness between 500 and 600 lumens for both of them.

I've bought an Elfin projector and it's very a good model for such dimensions. You can confirm the following picture parameters after calibration? Brightness: 42 Contrast: 55 Saturation: 50 ? Sharpness: 100 ? Noise reduction: off ? Color temperature: Custom Red:65 Blue: 40 Green: 49 and the others? HDR, movement compensation ? Thank you ;-)

It looks ok but real calibration depends on your screen/wall. This projector emits too much blue so you will need to reduce blue and increase red like in your settings.

yes but it depends on how much correction is needed and you should avoid having too much correction because it will deteriorate image quality.

if you use a PS or XBOX, the frame rate will be defined by the gaming console. The projector can display 60 images / second max.

No, unless you're ready to lose a lot of contrast. If you want something for your living room, you need more than 2000 lumens and a screen absorbing light.

@@lejandro495 you should check the image settings, there is an option for noise reduction with different levels. I had noticed something similar on some dark screens in the beginning but with noise reduction I don't see anything anymore.

yes for sure but only in complete darkness. For movies you won't get as much contrast as with a laser projector but in that price range, it's pretty normal.

yes of course, that's what I have done. You have the detailed measures in my blog. 800 is not achievable unless you're ok with inaccurate colors.

@@bullsclan2984 there are examples in the video and in my blog (lamborghini driver). You can watch a cartoon in full light but the image will be washed out. When turning on lights or exposing the image to daylight, all blacks will become greyish and you will lose a lot of contrast. For things like cartoons or watching football it may not be important but for movies it is more a problem.

@@Ol13895 Thanks. Yes sure, if you have a white screen and you're in the dark, the following settings should improve color accuracy and contrast: Contrast 55 Brightness 42 Color temperature: red 65, blue 40, green 49

Best review i saw until now .. but the Voice and google things ..i don't recommend.. i rather her your voice with translation.. i guess will be better.. i love this projector and i have before Xiaomi smart projector.. but i like formovie s5 more because the tybe c charging.. but i find something.. today.. about the source chep deferent.. this one .33 and the s5 is .23 or .22 i think..is that effect on the picture? Quality..i travel and move all the timeso i need small projector..so my choice is s5..but im worry about the dlp chep size ..

Thanks for your comment! It depends on how big your image is. Those chips works with lower resolutions (480p for 0.23 and 720p for 0.33). They simulate 1080p with interpolation but it has limit, the more you stretch it, the worst it becomes. For bigger images you will have better quality with 0.33
