sir, me apake sub video 2year see dekhata hu, magar , ye surface tension nahi samaja men online ke 10-12 video dekhe he (etoos , edupoint , exam fear ,Khan academy or Baki) magar kisine bhi ye concept deep me nahi sikhai quiry-. top surface ke molecules pe agar net downward force he to o sub molecules niche aane chahiye agar net downward force balance Kiya Gaya he to ko kisane Kiya he? agar top ke molecules niche aa Gaye to top pe kon rahega unaki jagah Kon lega bottom ke molecules unstable nahi he. or bottom molecules unstable hona nahi chahenge. agar bottom molecules uper Lana he to unape work karana padega.ye work Kon karega. please sir Reply me .

Sagar Shete dude see the molecule is not coming downward so its sure that there might be something that is stopping him to come down or else he would surely come down so it means that there is only one possible reason that it has potential energy/surface energy in it which handles it and not let it go

And answer of your second part is yes they themselves can't go upward they have to be get caaried by applying heat and that is known as heat of evaporation got it!!!!!

+Pradeep Kshetrapal Sir, I have a doubt. When we extend the bubble to calculate the excess pressure we denoted F=PA. Where P is the excess pressure. But sir if we apply force wouldn't the pressure inside the bubble change? And so the Excess pressure that we will obtain would be a difference of internal pressure and the external pressure? Please clear my confusion. Regards.

Ashith Salian I mean to say that P is the excess pressure, and P=FA. But, F is the force applied to expand the bubble, so won't the pressure also increase when the force does?

The force is applied in direction of pressure

Nope...as Scos*x2¥r is the upward vertical "force" due to surface tension...while 2S/R ...is the excess "pressure". The point here is force have direction (here upward)..while pressure is tensor quantity.
