Sir the graph of transversal and longitudnal are same that is sinusoidal in shape . Indirectly mechanical wave has sinusoidal graph . Did EMW and Matter waves posses same graph ? Because you said that all waves has same type of graph!

sir without electron there will be no oscillating e- and neutrons are stable, as i know EM Waves are generated thru oscillationg e- if my question is wrong please clear my this question... Sir plz clear my doubt plz Sir..19:14 time pe Jo app ne kaha Tha ki particle no. 1 will form trough and particle no. 2 will form crest and app ne yeh kaha Tha ki wave is moving towards right but... I've doubt that no. 1 should make crest and no. 2 should make trough as wave moves towards right....sir please rectify me if I'm wrong coz these create a lot of confusion

sir, what is the actual eqation of the wave . My teacher in the school and other reference books says that the equation of progressive wave is y=a sin(wt-kx) where as you taught us that it is y=a sin(kx-wt) . Sir, please I am very confused and my wave chapter has weakened.!

Sunny Singh it's with a phase shift. Factor out the -ve sign in Sin(ωt-kx) and you'll get Sin (-(kx-ωt)). But Sin(-x)= -Sin(x). => -Sin(kx-ωt) BUT, if you recall from your Trigonometry, Sin(x-π)= -Sin(x) => Sin(kx-ωt-π) which is our wave equation with a phase shift. You must know that the equation you teacher has told you is kind of incomplete; y=ASin(ωt-kx +φ) where φ is a phase shift.
