59:00 in adiabatic compression the area under the graph should have been DFEAD not DCHFD which is the same as isothermal compression

sir how tempr remains constant in initial process?
@murtazabohra53887 жыл бұрын
Prashanna Shrestha it is an isothermal process. The heat given is directly used to do work.

There is some difference between the irreversible adiabatic process and reversible adiabatic process. In real life applications, we came to see irreversible adiabatic process, thus the formula used by sir is of irreversible adiabatic process .Formula is correct !!!!

at 29:00 u said that if volume increase than temperature decreases but how can it possible if temperature is directly proportional to volume ? plz solve it
@murtazabohra53887 жыл бұрын
Nalini Kushwanshi it is due to adiabatic expansion.It is a sudden process.The volume increases on the basis of its internal energy and hence the internal energy decreases.Internal energy and temperature are related more the internal energy more is the energy and vice versa
@prathamarya98256 жыл бұрын
i agree to (its me) but you shouldn't apply Charles law here as the pressure is not constant. Volume decreases because molecules used their internal energy i.e kinectic energy to increase the volume as sir already told temperature is a function of kinectic energy, thereby temperature reduces .. hope you get the point

Sir, The work done in isothermal expansion is given by ------(V1/V2). But Sir you have taken this value as------- (V2/V1) when you derive the efficiency of Carnot's Cycle. Plz clarify Sir , which one is correct ......

Sir, the working of refrigerator was little bit confusing. how did the hot air outside the refrigerator become so cold when passed through the capillary tube ?
@murtazabohra53887 жыл бұрын
Soumya Ray its because the gas undergoes adiabatic expansion.The gas expands on the account of its internal energy and hence the internal energy decreases and therefore the temperature decreases.
