Shouldn't F12 be in the opposite direction ( while deriving the vector form of gravitational constant) because it is the force on 1 due to 2, so the arrow should be the direction from m2 to m1 ?

sir, in the last qstn of shell, the gravitational force acting is zero as it is inside the body, so we should also nt be attracted by earth's gravity as we r inside d earth..?

During the free fall force is exerted by earth or the other celestial bodies in the field they show their impact on the objects in their gravitational field

sir if the net force changes on the particle ,then the position of the particle should change in the direction of net force. then the distance of the particle would change ( line joining along their centers). so the value of " r " would change between the particles and so would the force change ???

You said that the the value of G is 6.67x10^(-11) was founded by canvendish there must be certain conditions under which this value has been found . Example if length be this much and then length of d is is that much. And masses of two bodies should be something thieta having a certain value so hence I want to know what are the condition of getting the gravitational constant

I have a doubt Why is force of attraction maximum when it's differentiated with respect to mass and has a value zero, i.e. dF/dm=0 Also why are we even differentiating with respect to mass

Hello Sir I didn't understand the (equating) step at 46:20.How is torque equal to Tao into Theta.I mean torque itself is Tao???And also how did you equate the two torques. THANKING YOU

Divyanshu Mehta Actually the tau that he took is the string's torsional constant which can be taken as k. It's not the torque itself. This makes up tau=k*theta where k is also the proportionality constant of the torque applied by the string on the rod.

the centripetal force on a satellite revolving around earth is F.And the gravitational force due to earth on it is F. then why net force on it is again F???????????

No it will bot be affected by the 3rd body. The total force acting on m2 will be 140 N as we saw their is no difference in the presence of a 3rd body. It is similar to 1st case.

Sir but what is the net external force acting on the third particle? like total net force acting on m1 was 150N and m2 was 125N in 1st case, so what will be the total net force on m3?? will it be 75N??

Sir, in the end u taught about the case of the shell nah? If thtz true, then how can v be attracted by Gravitational force? Because v r also inside a body(Earth) whose c.m is almst at the centre, so the net force of the particle attracting us must be zero nah, sir?

sir you said that force of gravitation between two objects always remain the same irrespective of the objects introduced in their surroundings but the net force on the individual object changes . i mean that if the net force on one of the two objects changes due to the object introduced , then won't the body move in the direction of the net force ? if it does so then the distance between the earlier two objects shall change and so would the gravitational force ..
