So actually many ywy 2 contestants are well known before their entering the competition. Like Xuuer and Yuxin in Ladybees, Keyin, Yuyan and Keni in here. Keran and Linfan from fanxyred, Xi ai and Anqi from Hickey, also 48 members

Out of the ppl u listed there, i would say 48 > ladybees > fanxyred > yu yan > keyin > other girls in terms of how well known they were before the show. Girls Fighting was a flop show so only the top few girls got some recognition (douzi, yu yan, zhou ziqian) but even THEY werent that popular after the show. Keyin got more recognition after making final group in TNTB. Hickey is a rookie group that barely did anything so they were pretty unknown as well. Lin Xiaozhai was prob the most well known contestant before the show.

I didn't know girls fighting was a flop.....I mean, it's new to me that trainees will go to another survival show after their compete in one. As example, Soyeon from (G)I-dle or Yiren and Sihyeon from Everglow, usually after their eliminated, they'll debut right away in a group

@@hilaholo6822 yep Xiaozhai is Hana. She is a popular internet influencer/entrepreneur. and yea the ent industry in china is different. Solo artists/actors are far more popular than idol groups so most of them are super unknown. Before these produce shows came up, TFBoys were pretty much the only known group (not including 1st gen groups that is). There are indeed some eliminated contestants that debut shortly after a show (NEX7, Awaken-F, ONER, MR-X, Acemax-Red), but all are which are still relatively unknown. Thats why u might notice like 70% of contestants have already debuted or participated in other survivals. they only really have a shot of making it big if they debut from a popular show. (or at least gain recognition from participating in one)

Even the flop survival show one (like the unit because yg just s*cks) usually make idols who's go on there skyrocketed. And yeah, I just noticed it with Xiao Zhan and Yibo case, they usually go on with solo activities instead groups and it's really unusual in Korean idol group Ohhh I see, that's why they want to life as Hana because she's really famous actually
