Thank you so much for this edit! It captures their unique dynamic perfectly!! Love watching this mother-son duo more than any other relationship on the show!!! Even though 熊尚善 tries to keep a mean exterior, she can't help but smile every time 安仔 nags her - he's just too cute and hilarious. And even though 安仔 is a lazy asshole most of the time, you can tell he cares so much about his mum! Kalok Chow is quite young, but his acting is definitely better than a lot of older and more experienced actors. He has amazing chemistry with everyone on the show, but his chemistry with Joyce Tang is just at a whole different level. Their scenes are always hilarious or really touching (sometimes both at once)! Hope the writers keep centering more episodes around this mother-son duo!

glad you enjoyed this edit. yes their mother-son relationship is definitely new and refreshing. through 熊尚善's harsh words and the hitting lmao and 安仔's lazy ass and over dependence, you can truly feel that they need each other and they're each other's no.1 priority. and whenever i think of 熊尚善's first love, i can't help but just think 安仔 is a gift to her. and yes, kalok definitely has good acting skills, like his facial expressions are really on point and it's not always that dead face, it really goes well with joyce tang's acting. honestly, their chemistry is always constantly evolving. just saying, they really set the bar high for the future actors and actresses who acts as single-mum with a son. lol

@@maymay1889 Totally agree how 安仔 is a gift to 熊尚善! The two she cared about the most (Lucky and 金城武) were taken away from her more than twenty years ago, but Lucky reincarnated and returned in the form of 金城武's departing gift to her. So 安仔 really is her everything!! Not only does Kalok nail his facial expressions, he also acts with his entire body! (It's a joy to watch his limbs flail hahaha) He also gets the tone of his dialogue perfectly. Like at 3:06, we don't even see his face properly, but the crying out of relief that his mum is alive is just spot on! Joyce is also undeniably a great actress, and I dare say that the two are just absolutely unbeatable together! Once again, thank you for this edit. I finally have something I can show to my friends who don't even watch HK dramas anymore haha!
