聽完兩位智者的對談，稍作補充和注釋。聰明，是智之小成，小範疇之機巧。智慧，是智之大用，提昇了視綫與視野，經由學習、經歷、修行而成的後得智。般若，自性本具之正智（先天智），靈明洞徹，人人皆有，卻被無明所覆蓋掩藏，須經修煉始顯。眾生相，是眾緣所生或和合之相。壽者相，即相續相。 “我”的觀念是由“觸受愛取有”所產生的“分別執著”而成。之後所談之內容、觀點、視角，頗有趣味和啟發性。

Here is Part II. Judgement must be defined as one does something (do I eat a treat in front of me) given a physical situation (a banana in front of me) in different ways depending something that is not physical (past memory of such action and result of it). If one can train a dog to a different behavior, that means a dog is making judgement. Human trainers and nature both can cause any living thing to change behavior.

Could it be that 'wisdom' is essentially the management of one's emotions using our intelligence, rather than suppressing them? I often consider athletic ability as a form of intelligence, as it involves the intricate connections our brain makes with various muscle groups. Social butterflies are individuals highly intelligent in social interactions. They dedicate a significant portion of their brain capacity to social engagement.

想問，如果現在有一個科技，可以複製一個完全相同(或更年輕健康)的身體，並且可以上載現在所有的記憶，在科技上應該不是不可能。到時會變成怎樣一個狀態？原來的自我還在舊身體裡，新身體內有一個跟你一模一樣但又不是你的自我。在新身體內的那個自我會覺得自己只是換了個身體，舊身體内的我是沒有半點改變過。實際情況係點我係想像唔到了，有機會可以說說你的見解。謝謝

我嘗試解一解釋，俗語話經一事長一智，同我地話人地耳聰目明，應係最佳表述。智慧應係判斷力而且靠經驗累積，聰明當然可以係先天也可以累積，但係就未必每個人都可以滋長出智慧。愚見也

向來不喜歡說與「死亡」有關的事，但稍作思考，「死」大概可想像為「無夢眠」，酣睡中而無夢，「我」在那裏？實際上，當時已是「無我」狀態。死亡是什麼？可以想像是回到自己未出生之時，大扺就是如此吧🎉。是否有魂魄（”soul” in English）？自己本身可能永遠不知道，其實祇是自己以外的人的構思而已，因此，我們的祖先，有在天之靈，又可以是泉下有知！無他，這是後人的「一廂情願」！

Nobel Laureate in Physics, Roger Penrose : "Consciousness must be beyond computable physics". 老蕭還是想用自己有限科學知識去解釋意識。用電腦的軟件去比喻意識也不適當﹐雖然人工智能有自我學習功能﹐但是自我學習並非自我意識﹐而自我意識只是我自己知到有或者沒有﹐我思我在﹐其他人的意識是否存在只能靠 inductive reasoning﹐inductive reasoning 並非百分百。

I appreciate 蕭生's use of the 'software' and 'operating system' analogy when discussing the 'self' in our consciousness. However, I don't agree that only humans or a small group of animals possess the concept of self. Every day, as I look out of the window, I observe birds flying away in flocks when they sense danger (like people approaching). No bird remains behind, thinking, 'other birds are flapping their wings, so mine must be flapping too.' I believe that the manifestation of 'self' may vary among different types of animals.

Those are called survival instinct. Even insects like cockroaches will instinctively run away from light. Yes, I do believe the level of manifestation of 'self' may vary individually among different types of animals.

哈哈哈运动员部叫聪明呢句就非常有问题啦，现代运动员特别是团体运动的都需要学习对手和解决对抗性的问题，怎么就不叫聪明呢，他们也是非常有智慧的，不然怎可能投入这么多自我控制去练习. 看看 Michael Jordan, c Ron, 就知道啦

Here is part III. Judgement leads to 靈魂. I agree with 蕭 that 靈魂 is not a physical thing. But is 靈魂 the only thing that is no physical? Is memory physical? Is emotion physical? You can argue that hormones that cause emotion is physical. But that only says hormones is physical. Can anyone extract emotion and put it in a jar? Even some stuff in physics is not physical. Is electromagnetic wave is not physical. It is a form of energy. But I diverge. If Judgement leads to existence of 靈魂. Then dogs have 靈魂.

Hi, you have touched quite a few topics. I do have a few comments. I'm good with your definition of Smart and Wisdom. However, when 蕭 got to Self and use Self as a basis for making judgement that led to 靈魂, the line of argument is not very strong. You used a test that is "you look into a mirror and recognize yourself'. It can be generalized to you do an action and recognize yourself. Then a dog eats is to recognize it is hungry and not another dog is hungry. That would mean a dog recognizes itself and its existence. We often use the word "recognize" with a very high level of cognitive capability because we want to distinguish humans from animals. Then if a dog recognize Self, does it make judgement call? Let's go to part II.
