He’s the most relaxed judoka I’ve seen to this day at 81kg. Winning at such a high level with such style requires immense judo fundamentals, it’s almost as if I’m watching a heavyweight from the 1970’s, crazy!

I've seen a lot of competitors doing the desperate attack when pushed to the edge of the mat to avoid a shido. I think it's a relatively common strategy.
