As someone who practices under Shifu Yan Fan, a monk who is of the same generation of Shifu Yan Lei, I just wanted to add something to this. Under normal conditions, Xi Sui Jing is done after basic movements to lubricate the joints and ligaments, but typically before Baduanjin and Yijin Jing as a morning exercise. It serves very well to warm up before further stretching and heavy exercise, but as you have done also helps as a cool down. In fact, the movements integrated into this Xi Sui Jing form are the primary joint and ligament lubricating movements. Normally the first 5 movements are the entirety of Xi Sui Jing, but done at an even slower pace than the original 50 minutes.

Great stuff man...what DVD did you learn this from..i just got his shaolin for beginners...i love Shifu Yan Lei ..he is My favorite teacher
