Do you need to reconnect/pair your remote each time after using the foot pedal or does it stay synched ?

As long as the foot pedal isn’t on the kayak with me it automatically goes to remote without having to sync

Can you still use the remote while the foot pedal is connected?

Honestly i seem to only use the foot pedal when the batteries for my remote stop working and I’ve forgotten to bring some extras lol. Now I’ll have to look into that! But I do think that the few times I’ve used it with a working remote with me, there did seem to be some sort of confusion between the 2 signals and the motor. 🎣💙

for a bow mounted trolling motor, how do folks transport their kayaks from the truck to the water? The front handle is blocked. Asking cause my motor is on the way and I just realized this after I ordered it!

I’m going to add a link in description for the mount I use. It is so easy to take the motor off and on, so I put it on at water.

I understand! I rarely use a boat launch myself, as I mainly fish where boats can’t go lol! You can still access the handle with the motor on, but I usually just sit motor inside my kayak to get to water, or if I’m parked close to bank, I just make 2 trips 🎣💙

If I had to pick between the 2, I would choose the remote. But I truly enjoy being able to use the foot pedal while I’m fishing. 🎣💙

the pedal, for me is just too stiff to make precise turns, so I end up using the remote primarily

I enjoy the pedal when I have a rod in my hand, but I primarily use the remote as well! 🎣💙

@@ladykayakangler glad it helps you, I'm sure it makes a difference how one is sitting or if standing also, my front pedastal seat is a little low for me which makes it a little difficult
