He’s been getting a lot of hate recently due to his fans getting angry over an erotic fanfic based on his and Yibo’s characters in the untamed. Not only was the fanfic removed due to fans complaints but the entire website was banned which angered people as it was very popular so a lot of netizens started to try and ruin his reputation by giving bad reviews on his works, getting his ads removed and then trying to bully Yibo. As for why fans were against the fanfic, they were worried that it would ruin Xiao Zhan’s and Yibo’s reputations. The reason why Xiao Zhan got hate is because antifans believe that the idol controls their fans and so they think that Zhan should take the blame and responsibility. Zhan recently lost his grandfather and hasn’t been on social media so people think he’s avoiding the issue instead of mourning
