The pixel 7 pro impressed me the most honestly. Using a chipset similar to the exynos 2100, old E4 amoled display with ltpo 1.0 managed to outlast the mighty s22 ultra

Actually, using a weaker chipset helps battery life. That’s why budget androids with weaker chipsets tend to have much longer battery life. More powerful the chip, more battery it drains

Just pointing out a mistake, you said the Xiaomi were using Ltpo but you have set them at fixed 120hz as shown here 0:50, to use ltpo you have to chose "default" mode, same with axon and 12t pro tho they don't have ltpo they still have "adaptative" panels that can lower to 90 60 or 30 Hz.

Just bought the 12t pro after using the Z Flip 3 as the main device for a year, and I must say I'm very impressed overall! I don't mind the missing features such as IP68 rating, metal frame and wireless charging. Instead, I get a powerful beast with an incredible main camera and most importantly, able to last throughout the day with heavy use. My 3rd Xiaomi phone over the last 7 years and I must say they've come a looong way.

@@fztiz999 Hey bro, well Xiaomi 12 Pro is a flagship phone, offering some premium features like metal frame, more premium design, IP rating and wireless charging. Also, it has some better side cameras too, but nothing revolutionary. So if you're looking for a real flagship, I would go with Xiaomi 13 instead, since I can say it's worth the title, while the 12 pro didn't amuse me as much. I would still go with the 12T Pro due to the better CPU and cooling, better main camera and most importantly, the battery and its charging speed. So to sum it up, it all comes down to the price and personal preference, I hope you can use this as a guideline to make a decision. Good luck brother!

Some people felt like it’s not worth it to pay so much just for little changes, like to upgrade from 13 pro max to 14 pro max or something I forgot, but I already bought 14 pro max so I felt sad for a second. I went from X to 14 pro max and used it for almost 3 weeks now and it’s totally worth it!!!

It has a dynamic refresh rate and I assume that was what was used. So it can go from 60-90-120Hz depending on the app(source:GSMarena).

@@eulehund99 Yeah for AOD, 1Hz is better, but not much help for rest of usage. In any case, even the S22U only drops to 24Hz on AOD and Pixel 7 Pro only 60Hz AOD. So ATM the iPhone is the only phone that really uses 1Hz.

Thanks. Glad you did the Androids on FHD+ as I was fed up telling the deniers that it does not make that much difference, despite claims that having FHD+ would make the S22U beat the iPhone! Again the iPhone is amazing, 20% left after S22U dies despite 15% smaller battery and on higher resolution. As I said on the other battery test, iOS 16 was buggy, and we see that was true with an hour extra. I expect it to break 10hr in due course. Great to see the SD8+G1 was an improvement on the terrible Samsung Fab SD8G1. Still the Xiaomi was an hour behind with a much bigger battery. The iPhone was the best on heat as well.

While you're right, also consider that 12T is running a fixed 120hz display which is power hungry considering the ltpo 2 display on the iphone. I think the 8+ gen 1 has come very close to A16.

@@roozbehabbasi2497 Though it was at lower resolution which would mean any loss with 120Hz is balanced with the 1080p versus iPhone 2.8K. So, it is unreasonable to complain about one feature whilst ignoring another. I think these results are very reflective of the difference, and I have not seen any other video that contradicts these results.

Very impressed with the Xiaomi 12T Pro and the Gen 1+. Xiaomi and Qualcomm that well in these tests. With Xiaomi I don't know if it's an aberration, but I think Qualcomm may have finally turned a real corner. Gen 2 should prove very interesting.

I've had the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra since release and it's been a joy to have. Battery life could be better but with moderate to heavy use minus no games I easily get 6-7 hours screen on time over 2 days. The new Xiaomi phones are looking like a good replacement for the future though. Great video as usual 👍

Good test, really liked the complexity and variety. Though i've been using the Pixel 7 Pro for about a month now, and as i've noticed, theres a bit of a break in time, when I got it it didnt last a full day for me, which was a bit dissapointing considering the size of the battery and googles "tech" behind it, but at this time the phone can last easily a day an a half for me. Side note: I dont really watch netflix and stuff like high res - high brightnes stuff, mainly use it for calls and social media like FB and Insta

You might forgotten the Mi 10 5G with a great battery that can last almost 10 hours. I think you did not make a video about Mi 10 5G but I found 1 of your video that includes the Mi 10 Pro which has a slightly smaller battery than the Mi10 and the pro lasted 8h 25m in your test.

The 12T Pro would have probably either gotten the best battery life there or been really close to the iPhone if it had LTPO. That fixed refresh rate is probably killing the battery faster.

There are e settings for the refresh rate. You can choose 60hz, 90hz or variablevwhich switches between the two frequency depending on what type of media is playing.

The only problem with this is i have noticed my battery hits 100% but the battery app on my phone shows that the battery is still climbing after 100% and are all the batteries in these phones rated exactly the same as each other
