@@angel20503 Maybe it would be possible to make an adapter for lenses, after all, there's people who has adapted proyector lenses, disposable camera lenses and rangefinder lenses to mirrorless cameras, I think there must be a way to 3D print and adapter for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. However, I don't think someone will do it soon, due to it only releasing in China and being relatively costly

I'm totally amazed with the kit especially when it can do half pressed focus, just like a real camera. That zoom switch is also great and on top of that, the filter holder is mind blowing. Imagine using polarizing filter or ND filter on a phone. Great video!!

That camera grip accessory is great. I have a separate camera grip for my phone but the bulk makes it too wide for grip especially around my palm. Having a dedicated accessory that fits firmly onto my hand is awesome.

I love ben's videos. Even when the universe conspires to stop him (at 4:00) he would continue the review, turning it into a smartphones drop test. 😀 The addition with the extra grip/case that gives you smooth control of functions (zoom etc.) is very good, I would like other companies to follow this example. With bigger sensors, variable aperture, better sensors beyond the main camera, I think we have entered a new era of smartphone cameras. As a fan of the big optical zoom, I hope that at some point we will also see implementations with variable optical zoom, where the lenses will come out of the phone body.

OFX6 Pro looks much better at 5:39. Color, clarity, and lighting variety feels more accurate than X13 Pro which feels tinted. Same as 5:48. There are fine texture details (see the dirt between the panels) that are lost with the Xiaomi device. If you want to see the amount of fine texture that you are missing with the Xiaomi devices, go to 10:10 and compare the tiles on the ground. I love Xiaomi. And that is a great camera, but I would probably go with the OPPO mobile camera after this video.

6:07 the xiaomi ultra has better line details on the tiles as compared to ofx6pro. I think the xiaomi ultra excels more on low light conditions.

Also, I love how we both share the same idea - a cell phone doubling as a proper camera is an easier option than lugging around a gigantic camera and lens system. I was surprised to see that Xiaomi downgraded sensor sizes of Ultra-Wide and 5X for 13 Ultra from 1/2.0" to 1/2.51, which is quite a big difference, when compared to 12 Ultra, actually even to 11 Ultra.

Don't worry about the effect getting worse, because the aperture becomes larger, so the amount of light entering is also larger. The reason why I choose imx858 is that I can't fit a bigger cmos inside and imx858 is the latest generation of Sony. It can work better with imx989 than imx586

@@dylanwang647 It definitely makes it come complete and up to date package, but as seen in the video, Ultra-wide video quality is definitely worse, especially in not so great lightining conditions, no matter the aperture.

Wow, I much prefer Hasselblad's color science! I don't know if the camera difference is significant, but the colors are much better in my opinion. Xiaomi seems to give too much priority to the blue and colors close to the skin color. When you were passing the blue fence, it was to much blue in my opinion. No doubt, Xiaomi has a good camera. But out of the two, I'll definitely pick Oppo. The accessories are awesome. I don't see much use for the handle. Cause pocketability is more important in my opinion then grip comfort. But filters - its awesome. The nice addon would be an ability to stick 1or 2 filters to the back of the phone. Awesome review as always, Ben :)

That variable apertura is a very good news, using Vivo X90 Pro I've realized the same thing as you with OPPO Find X6 Pro, too much light in daily photos, I think it will help a lot to control light.

Is anyone else not as impressed as they were lead to believe they would be about the new Xiaomi 13 Ultra? Don't get me wrong, it looks premium, etc. But, I'm getting tired of specs not living up to their hype on paper... There's new sensors, bigger, smaller, letting in more light, less light, 73% more light! More pixels, bigger pixels, pixel binning, better isp, new software, new hardware, faster this, cooler and less hot that, etc. All upgrades to performance of the last phone. Yet, when you put the new phone up against the companies last phone, up against other new phones, the gap you thought this new phone would have on others, new or old, it's not really there. Pictures and video look just a very small bit better or even the same. You'd think, with all these new specs and upgrades, the outcome of the new phones would be significantly better... That's just not the case, most of the time. ALL these "new improvements" seem to come too fast and they don't perform better enough to be released, in my opinion. I kinda wish more phone companies took more time to develop everything new for their new phones, then their "new" tech for them might actually really matter.

I don't agree with you bro. First, you don't have to buy every phone they release. 2nd, it's not really about the cameras alone, it's also about the processor. New processor would being better battery optimisation and better performance. You just need to pick one phone that makes sense to you and use it for 4 years. I was waiting for this. I did import the 13 Pro global and I've been enjoying it. The thing that gets me about this one however is the camera but more so the ability to I believe do video output now as this offers USB 3.2 as opposed to USB 2.0. I think the also mildly upgraded video to the selfie camera to support 60FPs for 1080p . I'm very curious how much this will cost.

Dang, that stabilization is good. Also, I hate bluetooth shutter grips. The bluetooth connection delay is annoying. I often have to press the shutter 2-3 times before a photo is taken.

Great to see review about camera grip. Many people just doesn't realize what it means, besides protection of lens, you can use ND filter or any other filter, last available on Nokia 808. Camera grip is surely useful for more smooth videos if using just one hand... Another main point to realize, the grip will let people get more usable horizontal shots, since many shoot vertical.
