Ummmm, I have a question! Best phone that can capture movement? Like, for when taking photos of toddlers and babies. They don't like keeping still for even one second, so I feel like my s22, Ultra struggles a lot of the time.

i don't know which camera won, but one thing stood out for me: they're all so good! Almost no photos taken during this testing were bad enough for me to not like them (except maybe the grey night sky of the Samsung)! To be honest, when they are all this good, I don't really care which one wins :)

completely shredded, that's not raw because it was already processed by its Digital processor(it looks like shooting with Filters LOL) . The details are missing, white balance is super off including the ISO it killed 8800k.

As a photographer I agree with pretty much everything. 8:50, xiaomi had the best colours and white balance no competition. I ordered iphone 15 Pro max and sent it back due to the extreme lens flaring. To many lens flaring balls from it not ok for 1700 dollars. Samsung camera is not usable due to extreme oversharpening. .waiting for a cameraphone with pixel 8 colours, samsungs lens flaring and iphone sharpening and video quality pretty much so waiting for the iphone with 1 inch sensor I guess since the others are going to add even more sharpening I guess 😂

The lens flaring with the iPhone is such a pain, and they said it was improved. I really don't see it exactly the same as the 14 Pro Max I had really. The best i've seen is the Vivo X90 Pro+ with Zeiss T* coating it really cuts back that lens flare.

@Techtablets X90 seems to be pretty good. Hard to find any lowlight shooting inside a city with lights on youtube but it looks good. Problem is that you don't want to buy vivo or other small brands if you want the most consistent experience, us banning, Google play banning and so on. Also the big brands have more resources to fix problem that could be fixed in a update.

Nice comparsion as always. The Xiaomi video suprised me, the colour balance on the front actually seems much better than the iphones, looks really good. Amazing to finially see 4K on a xiaomi phone. Hey Chris! Thank you, always love your camera comparisons! A bit unrelated to the camera test but can you use full screen gestures with 3rd party launchers on HyperOS? No one with access to HyperOS seems to be testing this. Xiaomi stopped allowing it with Android 12+ Miui roms and it's just ruined Xiaomi phones for me, I need my Nova 😁 Thank you! @@2i7px no problem. If you remember a few years ago android had 3 buttons at the bottom, one for home, back and recent apps. Thats now been replaced by swipes and double taps etc, they are called gestures. If you use a third party launcher some manufacturers, Xiaomi included, don't let you set it as your default home screen unless you go back to buttons. Also on the launcher I use there are all sorts of useful extra gestures and other features I can't use if I can't set it as home screen. Hope that helps, and explains why I don't use Xiaomi any more

I'd be interested in this same comparison, but with the smaller versions of all three. Xiaomi 14 has the same cameras as the pro. But the s23 loses the 10x AND the macro. The smaller iPhone 15 Pro has only 3x zoom as well. Would be a very different fight!

999.9999% of people won't import. After a bad experience I will never again especially as in the UK we get a two-year warranty which is worthless if you import. You save money but you have to hope for the best. Based on last year the Xiaomi 14 Pro will be similar in price in the UK to the iPhone 15PM.

9:15 Why don't you use xaomi portrait mode? If you use it, the real difference will be there, obviously you shoot in standard mode, use 75mm portrait mode and see the difference:)

dont even know which one is the most real one, the water color and contrast etc are different on each one, like wtf, why is it different though, if its the same place,i dont understand why they have to mess with the colors, most of us just want realistic images, and how the place really looks, if we want to use different contrasts we would install softwares for that

@10:57, this is the most concerning issue with alot of the Chinese brand phones. My oppo does exactly the same with "beautify" mode off. Its still doing it, really distorts reality.

You can fix the over sharpening on S23 Ultra with additional settings provided by Good Lock app with Camera Assistant module, just set photo smoothing to medium (which actually reduces amount of sharpening) phone is much better now. Hope that helps

Yes it can be fixed but I use phones in their default setting no tweaks or anything or that would be unfair. Imagine if I only tweaked the S23U, I might as well use a tripod and manual mode.

I really like the Xiaomi portrait photos. Also those with the Xiaomi 13 are very good in my opinion. Not that oversharpened.
