​@@risymondal6160 well in my opinion, I like the design and construction actually more, ceramic back, camera bump, the curves and lack of sharp angles and mainly edges, also the UI, namely Hyper OS, better camera sensors and slightly bigger battery.

in camera you can make an argument, everything else no. spen, dex, newer ai. screen is flat easier to install screen protectors. screen is anti reflective too. gorilla glass armor, titanium. xiaomi doesn't shoot 4k30 portrait video and 4k120. Samsung won all the way.

I also prefer mate finishes everywhere it's possible, but frankly I like that blue ceramic back contrasting with matt finished blue middle frame very much and even consider it more premium than all the S24 Ultra colorways 💙

All of you who never touched latest Xiaomi smartphones from 2023 till now which are in collab with Leica... you just don't know what a great experience is to see this kind of a color reproduction using the authentic profile compared to many other brands like Samsung/iPhone etc. which are overrated. It's just like you are shooting with dslr/mirrorless compared to boring smartphones... With Xiaomi you trully go on with a compact camera in your pocket instead of a just smartphone. Trust me, now they even added MasterCinema profile on video which may be also great, I don't know. If it is something like S-Cinetone of Sony cameras.. it will be a great news. And many of you commenting about the camera design of Xiaomi 14 Ultra, cmon guys you know this is photography focused smartphone, it's made if you wanna use ND Filters/Diffusion filters, it's so obvious. Just a great camera decision and camera design. Can't wait to see what's coming in the next 2 years with 15 Ultra/16 Ultra. They will be outstanding. Even 14 Ultra is!

Thanks Han. Great review. The regular human subject photos on the Xiaomi 14 ultra seemed OK but was a bit disappointed with the portraits which had a very strong beauty effect making them look a bit unnatural. Overall, based on this and your other reviews I think I'd still rather the Oppo Find x7 ultra than either of these too mainly because it does a great job for human subject photos and portraits. Also has the benefit of being cheaper so it offers better value for money. The regular Oppo find x7 is also quite good I think this year

Now I've watched the video, the differences in the camera quality is much more subtle between the two than other videos would have you believe. It is true that the chinese phone is going for a smoother look with a slightly higher exposure. Some shots the S24U were better, with better details mainly, other shots the XM14U won with a more pleasant overall image render. I felt the xiaomi won on the video front, especially when paying attention to the background behind the subject, something that can be quite important when vlogging about a location.

I really enjoyed watching your detailed review of both. I appreciate your honest and unbiased opinions on both devices. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a great set of sensors but I think the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is the winner for me between these two. It has a more premium and elegant design, a better display, a smoother gaming experience, and a longer battery life. I also prefer the One UI over the Hyper OS, and the S Pen is a nice bonus.Eventhough the Xiaomi Ultra is a great phone,but it has optimisation,heating issues as you can see from your findings. I learned a lot and I’m looking forward to more content from you.

For me it is a winner in design the S24 Ultra for its elegance, having few curves it looks uniform, elegant, minimalist... Compared to the Xiaomi, which with the shiny crystal looks like a less premium device. Software additions also feel superior on the S24 Ultra. Of course, in cameras Samsung has it difficult, at least in the hardware, in the processing I feel the Xiaomi a little far from the competition like Google or Apple. Definitely in video Samsung is superior, for example in dark areas the Xiaomi loses texture while in Samsung it feels better, besides the warm tones make the skin look more realistic and not as cosmetic as in the Xiaomi.

Most awaited video..Samsung is still good..Good looking phone,good built quality not bad at all but dont know why samsung still using old sensor...Old uw sensor..For main camera If they add 1 inch sensor to their new flagship nothing can beat them..This s24 ultra for me is downgraded cause they remove optical 10x sensor for 5x 🥴 Im still remember samsung used to be main pioneer in smartphone industry...They always come with new technology..But now they look like to follow apple footstep...Recycling old resources..For xiaomi 14 ultra i dont know..Seem like not completely ready...They are good not bad at all but i dont know...Not good as mi 11 ultra launch back then..Maybe just me...Thanks han for review for us...❤❤❤

at 10:45 , when doing display comparision...look at the colour calibration and sharpness in samsung display which is better than Xiamoi display.. 🤩.. you can clearly see the quality defference even thought both are QHD+ panels and xiaomi has even higher PPI count than samsung.. this shows that just being QHD+ alone doesnt matter... the quality of the display matters a lot. thats why Samsung displays are always better compared to other QHD+ displays from other brands...

I find the 14 Ultra's camera arrangement much more convenient, because all cameras are under one sheet of glass, rather than 5 small separate islands constantly catching dust and lint in between them, that is pain in the ass to keep clean 🥵

imo I think camera tech is reaching a flat line to the point were either one will do the job regardless of the one you choose heck my mi 11 ultra from 2021 can hold its own against these two. These phones are 95% the same and even though im a Xiaomi fan i think as long as there's samsung dex and s pen Samsung will always edge out Xiaomi.. Xiaomi needs to introduce a few more unique innovations like they did with ultra fast charging since Mi 10 ultra.. i dont know what their cooking at Apple with the upcoming 16 but i doubt it will stand up to these 2 so my verdict i think s24u is the king this year.. imo😅

xiaomi 14 hmm ....This camera is behind a lot of other cameras phones and have big issues with fogged cameras. I Do not recommend this phone for camera and they're making too many different phones that they can't keep with the software for them. Vivo x100 its the king right now for smartphone camera.

Starting from the packaging, Xiaomi is a great choice. I am happy they haven't removed that charger and case yet, hopefully they never will. The appereance looks so strange for both in my opinion. Both look like a kid designed these colors or like it's AI generated colors, but Samsung looks a bit better. In my opinion, none can compete with Pixel or iPhone design this year btw. And those buttons placed so high by Samsung is crazy, like we are living with 10cm long fingers. In normal photos Xiaomi looks better and true to life, but in human subject and portrait Samsung does way better. More details and better colors, meanwhile Xiaomi went for kinda white tone and very processed beautification. For selfies Samsung also does better in details and colors. In video, Samsung is better with dynamic range even though it looks like it softens the background more and doesn't give much details as Xiaomi. Xiaomi on the other hand handles lights and different colors better, such as the details behind the curtain and the lights with tree flowers. Display on Samsung hones has been and will be the best of all smartphones. No other phone can outshine Samsung on this department. Way better colors and brightness. Even to me Xiaomi sounds clearer and louder than Samsung. Good job from Xiaomi. Really a disappointment from Xiaomi to not be able to complete 3D mark WL Extreme test. Even Pixel 8 Pro managed to get around 75% stability and Xiaomi can't? Samsung looks nice since it is not a gaming smartphone but they could do better. For battery better choose Xiaomi, way better charging options, included on box charger and long running time. In my opinion if you are for day to day life usage and camera usage, Xiaomi will get updates and their hardware is way better than Samsung. Great review brother Han, loved watching this video.
