2y old Poco f4 gt here with 120w charging. Battery life has been decreasing significantly the last 6 months, i have to charge 2-3 times/day. But it still charges fast

Xiaomi 12 fast charging after a year dropped to 78% capacity. S23 same period 25 watt charging 99%.You can believe what you like. You just have to experience it yourself. Pixel 9 now. No fanboy here.

Xiaomi 14T Pro still has the Video focus bug - cannot constantly focus while moving (you'll notice a constant stuttering in focus levels).

You mentioned the S24 ultra at the launch price point of $1299. Hasn't it dropped in the US as time passes? I got a brand new one like a month ago in Europe for 820€, which is around 850$. The xiaomi 14t pro seems like a great phone nonetheless, just not sure I'd pick it over the S24U which price has lowered.

in my country slovakia (europe) s24 ultra is for 1450 euros. You propably got used one or basic s 24.

@@johntom23 Well, it is Europe, but IT'S NOT European Union, which is a big difference haha. There are official retailers and mobile plan providers (such as a1, t-mobile) here that sell it beginning at 1300 euros and upward, however there are also smaller private mobile stores that sell it for around 850 euros - and everything checks out as original, IMEI, serial number, etc... They don't give out receipts tho. It's almost a 500 euro difference so it's a no brainer, for me at least.

I do agree that we need more competition in the US. However you have to spend serious ad dollars to compete here. Selling things affordably isn't as easy when you have to go crazy with marketing.

I will say though that the color scheme matches well and it really blends in. At the price I don't mind it and in the end it will be more durable than say a glass back. Edit: Xiaomi says the back is Gorilla Glass, but not specifying the version of glass
