Nowadays you don't really have bad phones, including midrange. Some can be overpriced but bad, not really, unless you are a brand fanboy. A midrange is a midrange and a flagship is a flagship. There is no perfect phone. I don't like HyperOS and mediatek is not known to handle heat good on the long run, 3-4 years. Main camera seems really nice, for video of course iPhone is better but this 14T Pro is doing the job. It will sell well in Asia. We have it in stores in Europe, now. I'm less critical about camera block design, now that i've played with it. Shutter speed is good too.

Also, regarding the Steel Nomad Light results you posted, I've ran the same test using performance mode and game turbo, and the results I got on the 14T Pro are: score 1431 with average FPS 10.61

Did you turn on the High Performance Mode in Xiaomi 14T Pro? Cause the benchmark scores are really low for a Dimensity 9300+ chip!

I've done a proper Geekbench 6 test, with a good phone setup for the xiaomi 14T pro. The results in normal mode are: sc 2104 / mc 6689 and the results in Performance mode are: sc 2154 / mc 6819. The only phone with better results is the Samsung S24 Ultra, which had sc 2172 and lost at the mc 6782. That's it. Xiaomi 14T Pro is a real flagship killer.
