Background apps management is very poor..... overnight 30% battery drain sometimes..... KZbin as a system app means little control over its behaviour. And poor battery life....all after hyper os2 update. It was better on os1. Very disappointed......14tpro here.

My Xiaomi 14 received the Update January 7th, they said November... But I have HyperOS 2.0.1.0 while Global has 2.0.6.0 as of now and China even 2.0.7.0 🙄 India has 2.0.4.0 (Remember I'm talking about the Xiaomi 14 not the more cheap 14T Pro). It's obvious that these Smartphones are not intended for the EU market, I'm from Switzerland (German Language) and the OS has still spelling mistakes, the same like in OS 1. Support is none existend and so on...

​@@radicalprints9139 Yes but some of them are only available on the Chinese ROM so far, for both devices. The 14T Pro is a newer phone but it's a midrange Smartphone while the normal Xiaomi 14 is a flagship device, it has 2 better cameras and the processor is still considered better especially in terms of compatibility, it's easier for software developer to program for and so on.

Last December I got annoyed that I didn't have it yet so I changed the region to EU then the notification to update immediately popped up. I updated then swapped back right after. There are apps that get installed when changing regions so just uninstall them as well.

Main problem of HyperOS is it instantly kills background apps and battery optimisation is still not good as color OS, Oxygen OS. Bugs don't get fixed even if repeatedly report them.

The only thing I hate about HyperOS is its app optimization and overall performance. There are lots of bugs that needed to be resolved. I hope Xiaomi will listen to its users when everybody is complaining about how poor its UI is.

Hello! I just bought a xiaomi 14t pro with 144hz screen. But even when i activate/force apps to run 144hz most apps run 60hz. The only way to get (max 120hz) is when i clear battery data. But after minutes/hours i goes back to 60hz and i have to clear battery data again. Its SUPER ANNOYING. It has hyper os 2. My old 11t pro has the older os and hz works fine. Is there any way to fix this? My phone is not overheated.

To further add salt to the open wound, there's this thing called "Always-on Display" feature in certain Redmi and Poco devices, and it does anything BUT its name, to be "always on!" What a stupid company would make such decisions? Not even high-school programmers would make such a miserable mistake. Now go tell me, as someone who uses a Xiaomi product, that has experienced ALL of this pain and disaster of a software, do you really think it's right to invalidate our honest opinions and criticisms based on our own real experiences with their offers? (Algo detestable.) Es un gasto de tiempo y dinero esa metodologia. Es decir, si saca apps como la de la camara en version china nomas y esta misma se usa para la version global, que le impide hacer lo mismo con todo? No tiene ningun sentido.
