I just did the same thing, thank you for your detailed instructions, I replaced the bearings after around 1000 km, original bearings were very low quality, noisy and hard to move, I hope skf will be capable to make more than 2k km :) it drives better than new

can you spray wd40 to the outside of where those bearings are? my m365 pro started making noises, sad I don't think I have much more than 1000 miles on it, my original m365 I put on 3000 miles before selling and didn't have this problem, do solid tires wear out these bearings faster? I ride super soft, 7mph on average and on paved sidewalks mostly

Don't think so. Ceramic bearings are made for (where is heat) so they expand when heated.

Fantastic tutorial, very well explained. One question, I see that you use bearings from SKF, specifically the 6002-2RSH. Any reason to choose that model over the 6002-2R? I have looked for the differences and I don't know how they may vary from each other. Thank you very much in advance.

Nice video. How do i know if my bearing needs replacement...? Its easy to hand spin back wheel to know. But front is tricky due to magnets. Mine is already at 3400km with org bearings. Same model xiaomi of my friend seems to pull a bit stronger and lasts longer. Maybe its the bearing..? Or my battery is falling in voltage, due to big mileage...? How to know/test if front bearing is faulty? No bad sounds or anything from the scooter.

usually a bad sound is a bad bearing. try to pump your tires to 3.5-4.0 bar and you get a normal mileage.

I got a bad sound after driving in too much rain. But no way i can do what you did in the video. Is it possible to just live with the sound, or is it gonna cause lots of dmg down the line?

@@OneBrokeBloke It will get worse and worse, until the bearing will seize and scooter will start having less and less mileage. I did this myself its actually not that difficult to do it yourself. and as for driving, until its not seizing you can, but no matter what you will have to change the bearings, sooner or later.

no.. you have to open the cover... use a hammer and torx to slap that bitch in! :)

i don't know in what condition they are.. but you can try to open them and re-grease with lithium bearing grease

Internal clearance being C3 means that the bearing has room for expansion if needed between the races of the bearing, whilst holding the outer ring and moving the inner ring in a radial movement you will detect a little amount of play between the two rings. ... C3 means the bearing has more clearance than standard.

Well, my problem is that the motor cover came off with both the motor and bearing attached...

In that case use WD-40 on bearing and hammer it by the side of the cover, gentle.

@@RMFUNTIK Back again :) Any tips on removing the rust from inside the motor and magnets? Would a 1200 grit sandpaper be ok to use for this or a brush? My M365 is 3 years old and it's the first time opening the motor for a revision. It's not a lot of o rust in there, but I would like to do a complete job on it.
