Many thanks for your excellent repair instructions! I followed your guide constantly during the repair of my Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G on a tablet not to forget anything, and now my device finally remembers and recognizes my fingerprints again! I only deviated from your instructions on one point: When I had successfully opened the carefully heated device according to your instructions, I thought it made sense to rub off the still soft adhesive first to have a flat surface for re-gluing afterwards. But I'm sure you and all the others will do the same next time :-)

Thank you so much for this video. I need to replace the power button on my Xiaomi 13. I cannot find a video that shows this procedure for Xiaomi 13, nbut I assume it will be a similar process to what you did in your vide. I have several questions: 1. Do ypou know of a supplier to purchase a Xiaomi OEM replacement power button? I have not been aboe to find any onlne, they all seem to be aftermarket. 2. Xiaom3 13 has IP68 water resistance rating. Do you think it is possible to retain this rating after this repair? 3. I notice you use a special caulking fo rmobile phones for the back cover. Where do you get this caulking? Would B7000 or T8000 be a suitable replacement? Thank you.

No. Only with factory machines or really only factory replacement parts including sticker kits and screws etc. 3. Yes, B7000 or T7000 or T8000 is a suitable replacement. Check my links. 4. Hi, great video, will help me for sure. Please give me a hint - my Mi 11 LITE 5G turned off yesterday by ca. 25% battery, no reaction on the power button now, display stays black. Also nothing get displayed when the charger is connected. Is it possible that the power button is broken or maybe the battery?

Hi, it could be a cable, bad connection of the power button or display connector. Also the battery is possible. Take it apart and look carefully. Good luck 🤞

@@CrocFIX I have problems with the battery. If I put it back, the phone sometimes shows 0% charge, sometimes the right one, but it looks like does not charge when put on cable. But eventually it does. when it charges to 100% it won't change, even if i use it. DO you have any idea what the problem is?

@@CrocFIX yeah, I took out the battery, but when i put it back, it did not work properly any more. for example now I charged to full, but suddenly the charge level dropped to 0 and the phone switched off. Must be some contact problem or something. Have you ever experienced it?

@@zakzag Maybe it's just the connector. Try cleaning the battery connector and the connector on the motherboard. Look close if you have bended or damaged something. Alsow look if you have riped a cable.

It's a common Issue. Try to protect somehow the Flex cable of the button. It gets broken somewhere...

You can use a hair dryer if you will do just one repair. For more repairs I would suggest tu buy a Heat Hun, becauste of the precise heat setting

Not really...you can try and see if there is dirt inside, or just pure a bit of isopropyl alcohol in the button and try clean with a toothbrush. But I think you will need to replace it, as the small dot on the button probably got worn out or have been damaged. Good luck.

Yes attach the wire to phone and laptop. Press volume button to enter recovery mode. Then you can restart by resting the pointer at reboot for 2 minutes
