The latest update does allow you to use the back display for selfies. I don't mind the camera bump at all. If you are into amateur photography is saves you from needing to carry a camera around when you just want to snap a few pics.

@@Brock79 Brilliant phone. I really wish they never canceled the Mi Max 4 tho. Such a beautiful and gigantic phone. The Mi 11 Ultra is smaller but heavier. Love the phone tho. Great camera, brilliant display. I already have it rooted with Zygisk and am using Gravity Box to customize it. If you want a case recommendation I bought a Nillkin case for it that even has a cover that slides up over the camera. Was like 12 bucks on eBay.

@@Brock79 I'm in Canada. I can't confirm 5G or not since I haven't moved my new sim to the Mi 11 Ultra yet. But the network's would be Bell/Koodo/Telus/Rogers. The phone is supposed to be compatible with all of those. I know many Americans have issues with Verizon with Chinese phones. Not sure about the other networks.

Great review with some intro in MKBHD style. Don't get me wrong, I like it. The only thing I miss is a better audio, and especially the sould level difference between the two mikes: first one in home office environment and then when commenting some footage. The difference is significant.

I've yet to see a reviewer who tests super/ultra stabilization on any smartphone right. It's not meant to stabilize walking and running footage, but on an extreme vehicle like offroad motorcycling, skateboarding, snowboarding and so on. These generate different kind of shakes than walking or running, hence stabilized differently.

Hello, I've been thinking about buying a phone for about two years, finally I bought the phone that I thought about buying two years ago because it's still good in the camera part! @@amro2592 Bruh thats "xiaomi updates ruin the phones" Is come when they released the Miui 12 to global huh. Yeah The original Miui 12 is really buggy, and performance is really bad. But their Recent Miui is actually better than the original Miui 12.0.1 You can see the speed test by techdroider his mi11u using the 12.0.13 version and The ram management is improved like out of the box Mi 11U miui is 12.0.6 and it can only handle like 4-6 apps on the background running while the new 12.0.13 make the mi11u can handle 7+ apps, and it will get better since they focused to fix overall System performance and reduce many bugs on the upcoming Miui 12.5. oh the Mi 8 will getting the new miui 12.5 and that phone released on 2018,isnt that means xiaomi gives the mi 8 3 years update?
