@@filipesequeira4923 do u have some prove of that since all the reviewers saying that Dxo mark is not valid and u should not take it for granted, and about mi 8 better then s9 + or iphone maybe slithly in daylight shots but anywhere else it sucks ,video recording terrible, nightshots are meh not lot of options, copy paste camera interface from Apple and ok front camera so only shots in daylight are not making camera better then s9+ or iphone 8+

@@semirpejic3471 I have been using xiaomi, apple and samsung. The photo of Mi 8 is comparative and better then iphone 8+, more natural than s9+. S9+ photo looks good cause it's abit warmer looking. People been doing comparison of camera in youtube, please help yourself to see one. Btw, S9+ display is one of the reason it looks good. It's QHD super amoled. Samsung have the best Display, thats why if you see the photos on S9+ phone, it looks damn nice.

There's so many Xiaomi models now that it's kinda confusing. Being the 4th OEM company, they could have developed their own identity and unique selling point. Nice phone but I hope they come up with something unique next time.

If you review the Mi8, do not forget to test the video sound quality : some report it is scratchy. Low light photos comparing to OP6. When Miui 10 has been released, Xiaomi went back to 9 coz it was too buggy)) (buggy? Laggy?) 🤔 Take care !

Own a chinese rom version for 2 months by now and its perfect. Camera is great specially in night shot and can compete side to side with p20 pro, more like next to p20 pro when it comes to night shot photography.

This Mi 8 global version is better than the chinese version. Cause of the ROM, the google playstore already installed and also the availability of this version. But i dunno if this one is gonna break the market. IMO, this one is gonna be a little bit rare on the market, cause the chinese version already shipped massively and ppl who would like to buy it, they force to buy the chinese version without the playstore and also they kinda force it to unlock the bootloader if they want to switch the ROM so they can have the playstore officially installed which is the process is so frustrating. But yeah, lets see if the Xiaomi team will shipping this global version massively, like the chinese version in the future. If that happens, then i would choose this one than Poco F1 😉👌

You don't have to unlock bootloader to change to Global Rom. There's a reason Xiaomi called it Global rom because people would buy Chinese version first then wait for global rom

You're quite wrong about Xiaomi's MIUI Support. They support all of their phones, for around 5 years.

The pocophone f1 has amazing support. Most bugs from the date of release date have been addressed or will be with next major update which is android pie and should be before the end of the year. The xiaomi mi 8 is still great value but pocophone wins as it has headphone jack, 4000mha battery and fm radio. A wee bit of research goes a long way ☺☺👍

@@darransmith32 just download a radioplayer app and stream it works with any phone I use bbc Iradio and talk sport app and never understand the big fuss about headphone jack the amount of times I damaged the cable on headphones getting Bluetooth ones were a godsend and now the ones I use have about 10 hours life between charges

@@garypayne4284 Yes, but those aren't real FM radios and only stream/download over the internet, using up lots of data from your provider (and costing you money). I prefer a real FM radio app that doesn't require an internet connection but that requires the phone to have a real FM receiver built into it. Tend to get a signal in most places you can't get a wifi or cell tower connection and doesn't suck your battery dry.

@@darransmith32 Obviously from USA, as I listen to radio all day while at work and I am on move all the time never have a reception problem and as to data I have a 30gb a month contract costing £27 a month($35) which only use about 6gb and that's including browsing as well and in the UK FM transmitters will be shut down sometime in the future as over half the population listen digitally,in fact some European countries already have,so it will be a bit pointless having a FM receiver on phone

Finally Mi 8 global version after months after realeasing the China's version. That bottom chin is huge compering to OnePlus 6. Price in Europe is much higher and cost as much as OnePlus 6. Many new phones are already on it's way. Huawei mate 20, OnePlus 6T, Mi Mix 3, Honor Magic 2 etc. Xiaomi makes it very difficult with software upgrading and downgrading by implementation of many new restrictions resulting in thousand of units get bricked. I don't think Xiaomi will be a succes in Europa.
