Sir..mia1 is not a water proof phone...pls dont do video like this...actually mostly all phone will work after the test like this...but major problem will come after couple of days...the mother board getting faulty..& its very costly...

Это видео для меня характеризует весь канал. Идея таких роликов сама по себе хорошая, но по факту, автор просто закидывает не водозащитный тф в воду вытаскивает и всё работает, зритель/обладатель тф писает кипятком от счастья, а о том что происходит с телефоном дальше, через день два - ни слова. У меня в ми А1 после такого купания перестали работать все динамики и микрофоны, пришлось менять платы. Если у кого то после такого тф и выживет без последствий, то это большое везение. Сам ми а1 кстати хорошая модель была.

my son threw my xiomi into my 3 feet aquarium.. amazingly.. the xiomi perform very well like nothing happen.. this is one of many reasons why I admire xiomi very much

:D Nice test. Not waterproof, but if you have accident and drop it in water puddle, pool or pint of beer or the aftermath of pint of beer then quickly recover it, your chances of phone working are for sure higher. Can wait for mine to arrive.

one major thing you didnt check after taking it out of the water. . . . and that is "IF THE USB PORT IS STILL WORKING WITHOUT ANY ISSUES" because my redmi note 4's usb port was not working preety well after a wave crashed on it. though it charges quite fine[with noticeable and annoying problems], never again i was able to connect it to a computer. i short, the usb port was ruined to a extent of 60%. it could just charge... that too had problems connecting at the first place....

Q1. Are there any manufacturing defects in Mi A1 "Black- Made in China " variants compared to "White - Made in India" variants. I have read many reviews on internet forums that Black variants which are made in China have some manufacturing defects and people are facing many problems particularly from the black - made in China variant like dead pixels, light leakage from sides, low screen quality and dull color saturation, automatically reboot and bootloop problems, heating, hanging problem, low 4G signal reception problems etc compare to white - "made in India" model. Overall Black "made in China" variants have low quality hardware components compared to White "made in India" variants. During flipkart sale in 4 to 8 Oct 2017, white - made in India variants get out of stock in few minutes or hours but black one remain in stock till the full end of the sale. I was very shocked to see that. It Means many people may know that Black "made in China" variants have issues. Will these problems fixed in new batches which will be delivered after 4 to 8 Oct flipkart sale? (Very Important) Q2. Is there any chances that New batches of Mi A1 "BLACK" variants which will delivered in October after flipkart India 4 to 8 October sale, come with "Made in India" models and not "Made in China"?

i'm waiting for my miA1 to get delivered and i don know how it responds to water.but i am using a redmi note 4 which fell into boiling water and was inside for more than 40 sec .initially it wasn't booting but after 3 hours the phone was working quiet normal.the same fon was soaked inside my raincoat pocket for more than 1 hour didn't work for 8 hours but later it worked fine .even my old phone mi4i had similar experience and they survived without taking to service centers.their cameras are excellent. i

Guys...never dare try this. I had my new 3weeks old Mi A1 accidentally dropped in a bucket of water...and the phone switched off within 15seconds. I took it to the service centre and they said that the entire motherboard had undergone Short-Circuit and then "Set is dead". They prepared an estimate cost of replacement of parts of ₹14500 which was greater than the price of the phone itself. Thankfully, I took my phone to a Mobile repair shop in Chandni Chowk, Kolkata...they worked on the phone for about 2hrs, cleared all the short circuits and repaired it only for ₹600. So what I'm telling is, be careful and never expose your phones to any king of liquid even if it claims to be water proof, becz Company does not cover any warranty for liquid damage.
