It was from Al*express Xiao Mi Original Battery BM50 5399 mAh for Mi Max 2, cost €7.68 (€9.33 including post).It took quite a long time to arrive.

Omg that's strange but even me my mi max 2 is acting weird been using for more then three years now but now my phone keeps switching off on its on but it never switch off while I charge and use, if I don't charge and watch videos in KZbin or watch or use some applications it gets shut automatically but never shuts down when u am charging and using it..

Thanks for sharing. But I really had to watch this video first before I purchased the battery. It was not my first mobile repair job and I did not imagine what it would take. During the battery replacement I broke my LCD screen completely. Then I thought never mind. And ordered LCD screen. During the second try I broke the switch on button and simcard slot. The moral. If you don't feel super expert just stay away from Mi Max 2. Back up your data all the time. It's a fun phone, but it breaks without warning and repair is a real pain in one place.

The hardest part is looking for a replacement battery which will actually work. Even for just 70% of the capability of the original. My replacement battery suddenly go puff even if the battery indicator say 50% left. Maybe it can't withstand sudden current spike. So the phone turns off all of a sudden.

Their is battery issue in your phone. Battery is not able to generate power so it keeps rebooting. Just get battery replacement your problem will be solved. I have recently changed my battery from authorized service centre.
