I remove the mainboard for safety. If you are sure you won't damage the mainboard, you don't need to remove it.

yeah.. because as I looked how it's placed, it seems that you don't need to remove it to change the battery. but anyway, I won't have to worry about this within the next 5 years I assume..

PLEASE HELP ME! My MI MIX 2 was perfect until now that i connect to USB for charging and i realise that the symbol of "turbo charging" its ON at the top right of the screen before i connect the cable, whatever... i put on the cable but few mins later the phone shutdown (it was not charging) and now when i plug in again the charger the light below turn on and off repeatedly, so no charging and i cant turn on the phone... PD: sorry for my bad english

@MrYilank i suspect that your motherboard flex cable connecting to the battery have come loose You will have to open your phone and just make sure that all the connections are firm no screw drivers needed

@MrYilank plug in your phone to the pc and see if there is access to your storage or not And see if you phone appears on your pc
