The previous version using Zigbee connection could measure the consumption, for some reason they took out this feature from this one (at least in the EU version for sure).

Hello good video! Can you please test out for me if you turn off the plug while there is a timer on and then turn the plug back on will the timer keep going and not get disturbed and didn't lose its designated time set? Thanks

@HooMan Y So after some time I did purchase the device, and to answer your question, yes it does connect automatically to your network. Once you set it up, it will ask you the WiFi you wish to choose and it will stay on that. By the way, when the power of the plug turns off and comes on the timer stays on what it was.

Hello and thank you for your video. Please, I want to use it with air conditioning. I want the AC to start for 5 minutes and then stop for 10 minutes. Is it possible to do this with this device?

Yes, it is possible, but it is quite complicated to do the setup, and sometimes it fails to start. So in the end, I choose to manually start and stop it from the application. Thanks

@@recanything it.s impossible to stay all night long to switch it manually every 5 or 10 minutes. If I leave the AC all night working it gets too cold. If I stop it, of course, it gets too hot. So I was trying to find a way to work a few minutes and then stop. Why is that complicated to set up?

@@gabrielvladarean3292 Because you have to select each hour and minute for each operation...and you have to do that close to 80 times to cover the full day...I don't even know if this occurrence is possible. I tested it with my petrol powered heating system, but my schedule was like this: 1h working, 1h stop...and so on. And it worked fine, but if failed to start several times...I don't know why. My advice to you is to buy one and try it...it's not so expensive

So for example, if you schedule it to turn on at 7 AM. but during the night your internet turns off for some reason, will the plug still turn on as scheduled?

Yes, most of the times it does start if you have electricity power, but sometimes it fails (it happened twice for me).

This is just another way of controlling the traditional 3 pin plug. You still need manually turn on the TV using tv remote, turn on the printer by manually pressing the on/off button and many more. It won't work on electric devices which have no 3 pin plug such as neon bulb, ceiling fan and etc
